Nothing quite captures the spirit of a Cornish summer than following a summertime dip in its azure waters with a plate of lusciously fresh local seafood. Happily, that's just the experience to be found here at Hooked on the Rocks, which is just yards from the shore of Swanpool beach near Falmouth.

Visit to experience local, sustainable seafood such as Falmouth Bay scallops, Falmouth Bay lobster or crab, whole fish from Newlyn Fish Market or a Shellfish Platter to share, all designed to satiate the appetite of any sandy‑toed gourmet.

Dogs are welcome in our heated awning area or on our sea view terrace.

Delicious food, great staff, lovely setting. We had booked an outside table but weather was awful. So grateful the team found a table inside for us. Can't recommend enough.

Service a bit slow to start but the food was great, lovely Thai mussels / John Dory fillets. The special of gazpacho soup was great. We look forward to returning, thanks guys.

Amazing sea food, great atmosphere and brilliant views. What more could you want. On the pricy side but worth it. Starter type dishes, desserts and drinks expensive but about right for the shellfish. Makes it more of a special occasion place.

Mackerel dish very delicious but very small portions for a large and disappointed as i came away hungry. I won't be back.

Delicious, fresh tasting food. Padron peppers were outstanding All dishes were visually appealing. Sadly, we couldn’t manage dessert as we were full. Service was excellent, and the views were spectacular. Will visit again
