This is your front-row seat to the wildest breakdancing showdown, featuring the sickest beats from DJ Jaylo, spoken truth from MC Jammin Cameron and ultimatums from grand judge BBoy Stray Curt. We are calling all dancers to throw down their best moves and battling for ultimate bragging rights and cash prizes. Our beachside setup is perfect for catching every spin, freeze, and power move. The oysters were fresh n sweet, the steamer clams and mussels were fabulous. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. View at sunset couldn’t be beat. A truly fabulous package.

Oysters were great! And we were seated on the patio with a view of everything! Our server was excellent as well.

Very welcoming from the time we walked in. Food was fresh and delicious! I had the sable fish and my husband had the fish tacos. Both were perfectly prepared and arrived in good timing after we ordered. Our server made the experience that much more enjoyable as he was knowledgeable and friendly. So beautiful to have the views of the water as we dined.

Food was great (seafood platter, chorizo mussels, salmon burger, fish and chips, glazed salmon)The view was amazing with the round table close to the window plus there was a good ambience and excellent daily cocktail frozen margaritas!

10/10 experience! Love Hook every time I go there. I am obsessed with the oyster selection as well as the fun cocktails. My only ((small)) piece of feedback would be server oyster knowledge- my server was awesome about letting me know what her favourite was among the oyster selections but could not speak to the why so it was a bit of a gamble making my choice. I ended up going with her selections + really enjoying it but would have loved to hear more about the oysters. Can't wait for my next visit before it gets too cold!

The pros: This restaurant is in a wonderful location. Our server was great. Cons: We’d read it had excellent seafood, but it did not. The salmon was tough/overcooked, the greens and dressing lacked flavor and the yam fries wilted/weren’t crispy. My husband got fish and chips and he said it was “meh,” over breaded. For what we paid, it should’ve been an excellent experience. Disappointing, especially in a city that is known for its seafood.

We always book here when we go to the Stanley park movie night. Always get a nice table and good service. Very enjoyable and a beautiful location.

Went there last night (made a reservation and noted it was my boyfriends birthday). Kind of disappointing as most places will do something special (little desert or something), but maybe they just don’t do that at Hook as it wasn’t acknowledged. Oysters were great! Lobster roll was decent, but the bread was dry and was too much bread for what you get in the roll. Overall though, good food and our sever was lovely, but won’t be coming back for a birthday celebration.
