Hook and Vine is a neighborhood restaurant in North Beach, MD that provides a comfortable escape from the day with good food, good drinks, and good company.
I dreamt of a place that I could share my love of food and drinks with the community. With many years in the industry, I started planning my dream restaurant. I found the perfect place near the Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, Maryland.
The family-oriented atmosphere and warm welcome will be a fun and delicious destination for everyone. Home away from home!
Southern coastal cuisine with a focus on fresh seafood, bacon, bourbon, and wine. Menu inspired by the community - choose a new favorite dish each visit. Local beer on tap; delicious cocktails; and not your average wine list.

This was my second time at this establishment. The first time that I went was a Saturday for brunch, and it was phenomenal. The second time that I went was Friday night on July 3rd around 5:30 pm, and it will be my last time. When we arrived, the first hostess (an adult female) had great customer service and told my party of 4 that she would be able to seat us in 5 minutes. Then, a second hostess (a young adult/teenager female) came up and said that she wouldn’t be able to seat us for 45 minutes unless we were willing to sit outside. She then stated, “I can sit you inside, but you’ll have to be quick because I have a 7:00 reservation.” I should mention at this point, that the restaurant nor the bar area were not crowded, and there were four visible tables for four that remained empty throughout the time that we were there. Once seated, the waiter was friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was okay but not “phenomenal” like the first time—the pretzel sticks were overcooked with the crab dip, and the bread pudding was not fully warmed, and the outer crust was burnt, so only the inside was edible. Again, the waiter, Dawson, was outstanding and addressed our concerns, but I’m somewhat concerned that the kitchen staff would keep sending out subpar food.

Service and food was great! We celebrated a small birthday and everything was perfect. It’s a short distance from the boardwalk. Drinks were great also

We always receive great service here. The wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. Lots of gluten free options on the menu and the food is terrific!

Great restaurant! We love going there for the food and atmosphere. Added bonus is the bartenders always make my cosmos perfect.

A charming house converted to a restaurant. Staff very attentive and knowledgeable. the food was unexpectedly bland. Great piece of fish with minimal seasoning. The same for the scallops. I used the lemon from my iced tea to add flavor. Chef never learned about spices and herbs or sauces or flavored oils in culinary school. Disappointing!

Rock fish bites, wings, pulled pork sliders, bruschetta and the salmon special were all great. Crab cake left something to be desired and the scallops over orzo was terrible (they took off the bill and replaced with something else no questions asked). Service was great! The beignets were delicious! Will be back.
