Hook & Ladder is the unexpected steakhouse you’d never thought you’d find in the historic, original firehouse of the Washington Fire Company. This is a one-of-a-kind Skybar experience allowing guests a close view of our 149 year old firehouse, bell tower and original stained glass windows. A unique cross between a chop house and Crudo bar, Hook & Ladder features Certified A5 Japanese wagyu beef that will melt in your month. Dry aged Steak offerings including 32 days dry aged Porterhouse (28oz), 32 days aged Tomahawk Ribeye (40oz) that will taste decidedly beefy, much like a rare roast beef, while also taking on subtler hints of other delicious flavors. Crudo uses the Japanese technique of curing the fish making it more tender and flavorful. Finishing it with lime, lemon, and soy; featuring Wild King Salmon, Japanese Madai, Hamachi and more. Enjoy the purest and fresh take on some classic cocktails.

Server was rude and food was nothing great. Asked for a side of grilled chicken with salad. It was served after the salad came and was way overcooked. Server treated us like we were a bother. Would not return

Food - incredible (best oysters we’ve ever had), drinks - amazing (old fashioned made with gin was chefs kiss), staff - friendly (Michelle had great menu recommendations), ambience - outstanding (wanted the sky bar seating however we were not disappointed by the inside dining area). Overall 10/10 experience. Well worth the $$$.

The drinks and appetizers were good, but I expect better service for an upscale restaurant. Server did not inform us of kitchen closing and/pr final call for orders. We only ordered drinks and appetizer much before close. After finishing our appetizers, we sat around for 20 minutes wondering what was happening before the server came back. Asked if we could order mains and they said the kitchen already closed, sorry! Left without a complete meal. Highly disappointing.

The food was HORRIBLE. The service was Horrible as well. the food took 1 hour to be served even tho they were not busy. PLEASE do not go and waste your money.
