We were seated right away & our waitress approached us right away for our drink order. Our food arrived quickly which was fantastic (lobster roll). Our reservation was for 6:30 and we were finished and out the door by 7:10. This was a Wednesday night with a party of 2. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We have eaten here before and returned, it is fresh and reasonably priced... but unfortunately it was a holiday/Monday and they were out of a lot of items, enough that friends sitting next table over, up and left after their third choice never arrived... but we were being taken out by friends in town and we all ended up with something we liked, and it was good.

We LOVED our meals at the Hook and Anchor! One of us had a Lobster Roll, one had crab cakes and macaroni and cheese appetizers and I had the Hook’s Plate. I had four or five fish options and got to choose my two sides. I had roasted vegetables which were fantastic and fingerling potatoes to go with my snapper served with a lemon Beurre blank sauce. The portions were good and two of us had margaritas to go with our meals. The margaritas did not skip on alcohol and they were very good…not sweet! The place itself is small and was very noisy at first. It died down later in the afternoon. Try this place! I doubt you will be disappointed! Yum!

The waitress was very rude. She spoke in a dismissive tone and had an annoyed expression… He was the kind of bad employee who could sense racism.

Words alone can't describe our fabulous server! Ulysses was wonderful! He was warn, welcoming, knowledgeable, and mot of all attentive. The food is amazing and a great value. All of the staff were personable. We were a party of 3 with reservations at 5:30. The only suggestion would be to lower the music. It was rather loud and guest had to talk even louder to hear each other. But, that alone would not stop us from returning.
