We sat down and waited about 10 min for someone to greet us. Ordered sweet potato beignets- very good., came out hot. Steak Frites- Waited a good 35 min for it, entire dish came out lukewarm. They had a good taste. Wish it would have been hot. Server kept our water cups filled.

A welcoming staff, beautiful artwork, and a delightful menu highlighted our culinary experience at Honeywood! Many enjoyed live music on the patio. We dined indoors, and selected crab bisque, dumplings with vegetables for our first course, a vegetable tian as our entree, and the flourless chocolate torte and cheesecake from the outstanding Midway bakery. Every course shined! Highly recommend a visit to Honeywood!

Honeywood is a great experience. Nice atmosphere, not too loud and there are indoor and outdoor eating spaces. We went during restaurant week. The appetizers were delicious! Crab Bisque and ravioli with fresh tomatoes, olive oil and basil. The vegetarian entree was great. Lots of veggies and cheese. The pork chop was dry and overcooked. The second one was better, thus the 4 of 5 rating. The male Server was ok but not very personable. We L Like it there and we’ll go back.

This was our first visit to Honeywood. We visited due to the Lexington restaurant week menu option. We were not disappointed! Daniel provided excellent service to us. Making sure our water glasses were refilled, Our food arrived hot and perfectly timed and provided us with great attention and care.!

Went for restaurant week & we each tried a different offering. Apps were good, my chicken was delicious & both desserts were exceptional (cheesecake was one of the best we’ve had in awhile). Now the problem: the soup was cool & the pork chop (which looked lovely at next table) was nothing but fat & sides also were cool not even close to warm. Management made everything right & didn’t question us after having to send 2 different items back. We both appreciated that. It was unfortunate this was our first trip here but because management made everything right we will definitely give it another try. One suggestion though, this could have been stopped in the kitchen because the chop we got should have never been allowed to be served.

Nestled in The Summit, Honeywood offers a dining experience that seamlessly blends farm-to-table freshness with culinary innovation. The three-course Restaurant Week menu at Honeywood exemplified their commitment to locally sourced ingredients. Each dish was a celebration of seasonal flavors, expertly crafted to showcase the best of what the region has to offer. To start, the lump crab deviled eggs were a revelation (not on restaurant week menu). The combination of creamy yolk filling and sweet lump crab meat created a perfect balance of flavors and textures. It was a delightful precursor to the culinary journey that awaited us. I enjoyed the corn and crab bisque and the ricotta dumplings, both of which were sublime! Our server, Mireya, deserves special commendation. Her knowledge of the menu and passion for food were evident from the moment we sat down. She guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Manager Kasey also made a lasting impression with her warm hospitality. She took the time to greet each table personally, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and attended to. Her dedication to customer satisfaction was palpable and added a personal touch to our evening. Overall, my experience at Honeywood exceeded all expectations. The combination of a stellar three-course menu highlighting local ingredients, the unforgettable lump crab deviled eggs, and the impeccable service from Mireya and Manager Kasey made for an evening that will be cherished. I wholeheartedly recommend Honeywood to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in Lexington.

Having dinner with a friend. My dinner came out first. I didn’t want to start eating before the second entree came out. 10 minutes later I question where my friends entree was and after a few more minutes it appeared. The manager comped our meals minus drinks. The food was really good and I will go back.

The sweet potato beignets were great. The salmon dish was great. The flounder was great too. We were allowed plenty of time to talk and relax and slowly enjoy our food. Very peaceful evening.
