At Hominy Southern Kitchen, we believe that good food is the staple to any great gathering. We are a family owned and operated restaurant inspired by the South. Chef Jacob Burkhardt, a Tennessee native, combines his love of southern cooking with local and seasonal ingredients offering a creative menu of elevated Southern Cuisine in the Heart of the Rockies.

We are open Wednesday & Thursday for Dinner Service at 4:00 pm
We offer Brunch on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm and Dinner Service at 4:00 pm

We have two outdoor porches that are available for reservations & walk-ins

We had a great time! The food, service, drinks, entertainment and overall atmosphere was excellent. Highly recommend! Many great choices on the menu for everyone!

Our first time to Hominy was very enjoyable. A great variety on the food and drink menu, cozy but modern Southern decor, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delish and well priced. We were celebrating a birthday and even though we turned down the dessert menu they brought us ice cream. Will visit again!

Ordered the Smoked Pork Chop special & grilled Garlic Scapes with Peanut Romesco. Possibly the best pork chop I've ever had. Definitely the best chop I've had in over 30 years in the Roaring Fork Valley. Simply phenomenal; perfectly cooked. I was a little skeptical about the Grilled Garlic Scapes over Peanut Romesco, but that side dish was equally phenomenal, a perfect blending of flavors. The chef is brilliant. Cote Rotie by the glass? Yes, please! I would go back again today and order the exact same thing. That is how good it was. This really is the best mid-valley restaurant and more than likely the best restaurant value in the entire Roaring Fork Valley. My wife ordered the fried chicken and waffles: delicious! Shrimp & Grits starter was excellent. Great service! Nice outside patio.

This was our second visit to Hominy and it was very good. We started with the wood smoked oysters which were incredible. We had the trout again and it is still the best trout we have ever had. It was cooked perfectly and very moist. While the catfish was good, it was cooked more like fish and chips and we expected a bit more. The chicken was excellent with a crispy crust and juicy center. It is enough for 2 meals! All meals came with a biscuit and some were perfectly cooked while others were dry and hard. The key lime pie was incredible with a lime whipped cream on the side. We do not recommend the chocolate chip cookie with gelato. The cookie was dry and hard. All in all, it is one of our favorite restaurants in the valley.

The food was amazing. From appetizer of cornbread to the peach cobbler desert and everything in between. My gf and I were thoroughly impressed with the taste and service.

Our meal and drinks were all very good. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits. My guest also enjoyed the Kung Salmon and Crawfish Mac B Cheese. Watermelon Mint Spritzers were very refreshing. Service was great too. We will be returning. Nice atmosphere.
