Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

Holt @ South Petherton is simply amazing. The food delicious, the service from Shaun and his team was personable and professional. Set in an old bank, the decor pleasant to the eye. We had a lovely evening.

Really lovely food in a lovely setting but service let's it down. Shaun was brilliant but the rest were inattentive and one of the waiters was actaully quite rude. Had to constantly ask for more water, missed explanation of what food was, didn't ask if we needed anything etc. If you are staying consider which room you are in as if you stay over the restaurant the booming music starts at 7am!

After all the hype around Holm we were rather dissapointed. We had the tasting menu and although 2 of the dishes were wonderful the rest were a bit underwhelming. All the food was tepid and served on cold plates.Service was not great and the tasting menu was extremely slow coming out.

We went for a special birthday. We had the tasting menu but it had to be adapted for different dietary requirements, they coped brilliantly so everyone had a wonderful experience. All the food was great and the service friendly.

We stayed at Holm for a couple of nights and loved it. The welcome and service was very good and the comfortable rooms are beautifully decorated in a way we loved. We stayed for dinner on one evening and had the tasting menu of several courses. Each was excellent; interesting and tasty. The pace of the evening was lovely and relaxed. Once we were seated the service was great; informational an friendly without being intrusive. We had a lovely evening in the restaurant and a very good stay overall. We look forward to visiting again

I treated my cousin to a birthday treat, and we were absolutely spoilt. The food is superb, offering delicious flavours and a wonderful dining experience. We chose to sit at the Chefs table and it is such a great way to appreciate the food that they create. Atmosphere is calm and the decor those sophisticatedly natural. It’s the third time that I have dined here and I will return again and again.
