Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

Join us at HOLM Somerset for our stunning Chef's Tasting Menu. With a focus on Somerset's finest quality products from local growers and farmers, our team will guide you through a seven course menu. We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

Foraging walk with Nicholas Balfe followed by cooking demo and three course lunch. Join us for the return of our well received Foraging Experiences, hosted and led by Nicholas Balfe. Meet at the restaurant for a cuppa and cookie, before heading out to one of Nicholas' favourite foraging spots in search of wild garlic and more. Upon returning to Holm, you'll be greeted with snacks and a welcome drink, whilst Nicholas guides you through a short demo of how to prepare the ingredients you have picked. We'll serve a hearty, rustic lunch and there will be a jar of wild garlic pesto to take away. Alcoholic drinks and additional soft drinks are not included in the ticket price. Please inform of us any dietary requirements ahead of the event. And do bear in mind that we will be walking outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather and bring a pair of shoes you don't mind getting muddy. We look forward to seeing you!

Superb lunch with perfectly judged service. Matchless in all respects. Food best described by someone with a good deal more adjectives than I know. Save to say that one will remember starter, mains, and pud as gold standard dishes by which to measure other Somerset establishments - and gawd help them. Ambience one star short, simply because there were few of us in for lunch and the buzz lesser for that. Though that too, a little harsh methinks, so up that to five please. (It might be a good idea to be able to see my star rating whilst writing this, as I cannot get back to it and the more one thinks about the experience the more one is inclinded to revise, in this case ever upwards.) Will visit again whenever I need to flatter someone important. All the best, Rod

Lovely experience and enjoyed the great British menu, hope it wasn’t as stressful for the chef as he prepared it for people out of the judges chamber for the first time. Will definitely return to enjoy more meals here.

Wonderful place to have dinner. Lovely vibe all evening, not too stuffy, with very friendly staff and totally amazing food from the first bite.

We visited Holm on the back of the Chef's (Nicholas) participation on the Great British Menu. We weren't disappointed. We visited at lunchtime and there was a set menu. Although there is a small selection of starters mains and desserts we were still spoilt for choice. It's a reasonable price at under £30 for three courses of delicious food. The staff are charming. The kitchen is open and exhudes a calm atmosphere. It's nice to thank the team in the kitchen directly. It is also good to see the Chef delivering food and interacting with the diners.

Wonderful experience on the chefs counter. Every dish was beautiful and tasty. The vegetarian options were great. Particularly loved the butternut squash. Service was impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely experience.

I have eaten here a few times and although the food is delicious, the experience always leaves me feeling a little “meh”. For the price of the meal, the waiting staff don’t have a level of professionalism and attention that commands the price and also the room is always a little cold and austere. We had an exactly the same price of meal at Walcot House in Bath a few weeks back and that was another level- cosy, attentive but super friendly, relaxed and warm atmosphere.
