Holm is inspired by nature and our surroundings in the beautiful South West of England. We are driven by provenance, sustainability and warm hospitality. Our aim is to serve delicious food and drinks in a casual yet refined environment.

The food at Holm will be driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butchers, gamekeepers, fishermen and anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients, treated with care and respect.

Our wine list is focused, well-chosen and sensibly priced with low intervention, organic and biodynamic wines from small artisanal producers.

We can accommodate for most dietary requirements as well as enhance your meal with a supplemental signature cheese plate and/or drinks pairings. Our drinks are exclusively small-estate British and European spirits and wines grown vintages, carefully selected to complement your evening. We look forward to welcoming you for what we promise to be a culinary experience to remember! Please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Due to the nature of our menu we may not be able to accommodate last minute amendments.

Wonderful experience on the chefs counter. Every dish was beautiful and tasty. The vegetarian options were great. Particularly loved the butternut squash. Service was impeccable. Couldn’t have asked for a more lovely experience.

I have eaten here a few times and although the food is delicious, the experience always leaves me feeling a little “meh”. For the price of the meal, the waiting staff don’t have a level of professionalism and attention that commands the price and also the room is always a little cold and austere. We had an exactly the same price of meal at Walcot House in Bath a few weeks back and that was another level- cosy, attentive but super friendly, relaxed and warm atmosphere.

A wonderful Sunday lunch. Impeccable service by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The sirloin was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, with deliciously crispy roast potatoes. 3 courses each of excellent food, with two drinks, water, and service came to just over £100, which – for food of this quality – is great value. Totally recommended.

After watching the Great British Menu and seeing Nicholas and the food he created, we decided to visit Holm. The food was outstanding, the service brilliant and the restaurant clean and very stylish. We will be visiting again and sharing our experience with friends and family.

Another lovely stay at Holm. Such a warm welcome from everyone. Do try the tasting menu to enjoy the wonderful food that Nicholas and his team serve. A very comfortable stay followed by a delicious breakfast. We tried the English wine on the list and thoroughly enjoyed it. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Set lunch for two. Parsnip salad followed by sea trout, and haggis pakora followed by the guinea fowl pie. All beautifully presented. The haggis was the stand out for me. I felt the pie was a little too rich and heavy and could have been served slightly smaller but with something to go with it. The service tailed off a little towards the end as it got busier and we were left waiting to order dessert and to pay our bill. Will go back.
