The prices don't reflect the experience now ,$32 a head for fried chicken is just extortionate and I have to say it doesn't reflect the quality as standards have lapsed,chicken was dry and warm not what I expected from a noon reservation, $32 for 9 pieces of shrimp,you have to pay extra for top ups now ,my coke was diluted from sitting in ice in a jug .. .no crudites,no tomato juice,no fall soup , salad portions are meagre,...it's just not what it once was ,even the linen tablecloths have been removed...sad all these changes have happened under new ownership! Truly sad

We had family here from out of town and they wanted to experience Hollyhock Hill as they remembered from years ago. We miss the old prestine linens and special treatment from years ago. Our server was very slow to serve our table many times. The noise level was horrible. We couldn't carry a conversation. It was sad.

Everything was fantastic. The overall experience was so good, we made another reservation before we left the establishment.

The food selections are reminiscent of my Hoosier Grandmother's cooking of many years ago. Very nostalgic! Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn, excellent Biscuits & apple butter. Love the history, old fashioned setting and decor. Good place for families. But, be aware that it is very noisy! Sometimes hard to hear your dinner partners when conversing due to babies crying, kids yelling and running around. I was sad that they didn't have Butterscotch for the Ice Cream as advertised. I had been looking forward to that little bit of nostalgia. Waiter was attentive and friendly.

Amazing service! The food was excellent. We had a large party of 11 and the staff handled it like the pros that they are! Will definitely be back!

The food was great and the service was very good. In this way, it was the Hollyhock I always knew. That history was the reason my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there in 2013. In recent years they got away from the square tables with white table clothes and went with long tables without any covering. Additional tables were put in the space as well. As a result, the ambiance changed from a nice Sunday Dinner space to something more like a cafeteria with good food. The more casual setting with more people in the space has made it a much louder place to eat. I still enjoy going, but it's not what it was. Whenever we go, I'm reminded of why we don't go more often.

Dinner was excellent as always. Our server Tracy was attentive and polite. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Timeless classic restaurant! Food is delicious...best fried chicken!! Our server Tracy was excellent...he did a fantastic job! Will definitely be back!
