    I made reservations thinking that we would have the Restaurant Week menu. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it only applied to dinner - we were there at 1:30 PM. My friend got the EGGS ROYALE. The toasted Andy's croissant was so hard she needed a steak knife to cut it but other than that the dish was good. I had the steak, potatoes and salad which were very good. ?Service was great - just disappointed we didn't get to order from the Restaurant Week menu and that the croissant was extremely tough.

    Really nice dinner, sat outside, which is beautiful. It was restaurant week and definitely had one of the better menus. I enjoyed the bouillabaisse and chocolate dessert while my husband liked his steak and a trio of sorbets. Service is always wonderful. Thank you Delena! (I apologize if I misspelled your name.)

    Horrible seating location in path a servers. Table too high or seat cushion too low. Unable to place feel on floor due to broad table pedestal. Bouillabaisse only fair and small portion. One of the two mussels undercooked and both gritty from poor cleanup before steaming. The sorbettos a good desert treat, but the ambience and seating location poor. A loud talking guest on the small room section. Waiter’s delivery of wine uninspiring (swept onto table as server rushing by toward service to another set of diners in another room alcove). Skimpy bread service (one 1/3rd slice with the bisque; graciously another 1/3rd slice for sopping up the bouillabaisse). First-time try of Holly Hill Inn, but left disappointed.

    Excellent dining experience with food, ambience, and service. The charcuterie board was enough for four. The smoked duck was particularly good. The tempura fried zucchini blossoms were savory , and wife enjoyed her tomato pie with buttery crust for appetizers. Sirloin with tomato onion sauce cooked to perfection. Wife throughly enjoyed her bouillabaisse, as well as her trio of sorbets for dessert . Not sure how dessert labeled deflated chocolate soufflé, but was quite dense chocolate flavor with cream filling. Our party of four throughly enjoyed the evening with special restaurant week menu.

    Everything was really good except for the gravy. It almost ruined my chicken fricassee. It was certainly different, but in a gamey way. When you have gravy on your plate, it takes on a"comfort food" persona. I love gravy, but NOT these gravy that was served last Sunday, 7/21/24.

    Fun cute place almost hidden. Service was mainly my issue. We dined Saturday evening, The guy who served us had dark short hair with a mustache. As soon as he took our food order we were non existent. It took half way through our main dish to get his attention for a second drink. He’d enter the room drop something off and quickly exit the room without checking on any other tables. He did take those other drinks off which was nice. The food wasn’t all that great the filets were extremely tough and were two different temps. We both asked for medium…. Mine had zero pink. It was cooked well done, I could barely cut it. Lastly we got both of the desserts. The sorbettos were crunchy and refrozen. On a positive note the flavors were great. The fallen chocolate soufflé was just a chocolate roll with raspberries 😭 I was looking forward to this restaurant for a long time and it disappointed on multiple levels. The locals said it was amazing.. I went to multiple other fine dining establishments and didn’t have one problem.

    This was our first time dining here. Had read nothing but glowing reviews, we were so excited to visit. We were very disappointed. Zucchini appetizer was bitter and not edible, tomato pie appetizer was good , but small and I then had to share it. Sirloin was not carved and couldn’t be cut with my steak knife. (Ordered medium) Tried to tell waiter, but he never checked in during this part of the meal. Bouillabaisse had good flavor, however, did not have much substance. Dessert sorbettos were good, but the dessert listed as “fallen chocolate soufflé” was not a soufflé at all. It was a dark chocolate Swiss roll. We went through the entire dessert portion of the meal with empty water glasses. Which normally wouldn’t be an issue, but due to a recent health issue, it was all I could drink. Just seems like a restaurant of this caliber , especially during restaurant week would want to make a good first impression. Repeat business is a goal of RW I would think. I wish it would have gone better, I know restaurants have off nights, but it was just such a disappointment, I doubt we will return.

    Enjoyed location and service. My dinner was delicious but husband was less than impressed. We dined during restaurant week and possibly menu was impacted.
