This was the best experience! We went during the restaurants annual Cassoulet celebration and it was phenomenal. I also planned a surprise marriage proposal for my gf. The staff was amazing from the chef all the way down to the servers. She was caught completely off guard and it couldn't have been better. Our server Graham was amazing, attentive, and so friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a superior dining experience, a special occasion, or just treating yourself.

This year's cassoulet did not quite meet the standards of previous years. It would greatly improve the dish if it were served hot and the beans were better prepared. Additionally, sitting near the live music made conversation difficult, so perhaps a quieter seating area could enhance the overall experience.

This was our second time at Holly Hill. Our first was on our wedding night and our second was for our first wedding anniversary. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the hostess and taken to our table. We were then greeted by Alicia who remembered us from our first visit, she quickly made us feel as if we were at her home for dinner. The food was delicious and elegantly presented. We started with the chèvre, it did not disappoint, we were immediately reminded of why we wanted to come back. The rabbit paella was perfectly balanced with multiple layers of savory and earthy flavors. Every ingredient was cooked perfectly, from the rice to the escargot. Very impressed by the attention to detail and execution of a dish like that where if one individual ingredient is over or under cooked it can throw a whole dish off. Not at Holly Hill it was technically executed perfectly. The apple stack cake was the perfect way to end our dinning experience, hands down the best anything Apple we have ever had. The moisture of the cake, balance of the not overly sweet layers and a texture packed topping that brought it all together well done kitchen. All of the food as impressive as it was, was equally met with the same precision form the front of the house. Alicia and the rest of the team that we engaged with were always very professional and courteous. The constant flow of someone checking on us, filling water, giving us fresh silverware and clearing plates were always done right on time and never in an awkward engagement. If we didn’t live 5 states away we would be dinning at Holly Hill weekly. We are very grateful for Alicia and the culinary staff at Holly Hill who helped us celebrate our special evening once again.

As always the Holly Hill Inn delivered. We had people from out of town and wanted to take them somewhere uniquely Kentucky. Holly Hill is our "go to" for that purpose. Food was good, service was excellent. We will be back!

We celebrated our ten year anniversary with dinner and it was delightful! Everything tasted amazing and Alicia was great. We went with the wine pairings with dinner and they were perfect! They even gave us a card signed by the staff, which was a nice surprise.

Service was above and beyond. The meals were each unique and the blending was great. Portions were perfect, I left feeling no hunger and the meal (each component) complimented the next course. Ambiance was wonderful. No complaints. Thanks for a great meal!

Holly Hill Inn is a special place… the jewel in the brands of Ouita Michels. I knew it would be a special experience but it surpassed my expectations. Every bite was delicious and we loved all the extra touches… we ordered the starters with our menu and everything was so yummy. I highly recommend the brunch and will definitely return!

Nothing short of amazing! Menu selections, presentation and deliciousness equal to or exceeds many top tier well known big city gourmet restaurants. And they change the menu every few weeks which is amazing to be able to do this and keep such quality and variety. It is hands down my favorite restaurant. A bit pricey but worth every penny for this level of quality, taste and service. Everything course was perfectly paired with a wine and the delicious dark chocolate cherry flourless cake was paired with a Woodford Reserve bourbon for a perfect ending to the most perfect dinner! Cannot put into words how wonderful this dinnwr was. Must experience for yourself
