    My wife and I have been going here for several years and the Holly Hill Inn is our favorite restaurant in the Lexington area. The food is exceptional and the presentation is often like a work of art. They're very creative in not just what they prepare, but how the serve it. The ambiance is very nice and the food and service are always 5 stars! We were fortunate to get a table on the front porch this weekend, and the scenery and weather made it very enjoyable. The location in Midway is less than 30 minutes from Lexington, and it's a beautiful drive through horse country as you travel to the restaurant. The only downside to eating at the Holly Hill Inn is the experience just doesn't last long enough. My wife and I are never in a rush to leave.

    Great service. Interesting dishes. I spent t $100, though, and I would like a bit for variety in the dishes. Or less expensive options with less variety.

    We dined on the front patio surrounded by the beautiful grounds of Holly Hill. The wait staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and discrete, both satisfying our needs and allowing us time to relax and enjoy our meal. The menu that night was a fixed prix four course meal. The selections were creative and original, allowing us to sample the talents of the chef and kitchen staff. To us, the portions were just right.

    The first and 3rd courses were very good. The selection for the 2nd or main course were not. Two of our party ordered the crepes and were disappointed. There were not good choices for the main course .
