We dined on the front patio surrounded by the beautiful grounds of Holly Hill. The wait staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and discrete, both satisfying our needs and allowing us time to relax and enjoy our meal. The menu that night was a fixed prix four course meal. The selections were creative and original, allowing us to sample the talents of the chef and kitchen staff. To us, the portions were just right.

The first and 3rd courses were very good. The selection for the 2nd or main course were not. Two of our party ordered the crepes and were disappointed. There were not good choices for the main course .

To my surprise I found out that Holly Hill was dog friendly! This was my puppies first road trip and to my surprise I could not leave him in the hotel room he was too and sure so I had to take my puppy with me everywhere which led me to have interesting conversations with everyone! My puppy was received with open arms we dine on the front porch which was fabulous!The staff was great with me and my dog! I highly recommend them I will be back

Holly Hill Inn is uniquely an outstanding place to dine. The food and service are always outstanding. Because of the time of year, the local fresh ingredients were amazing and perfectly prepared.

The food was delicious, but we spent the night fighting off bugs which were constantly trying to enter our drinks and land in our food. We were even eating indoors! Also, the table next to us was offered a selection of breads for the bread service and were offered se ones, but we were not. Our waitress was also so busy that we didn’t receive a drink or our first course for over 45 mins after sitting down and when a bug landed in our drink, we had to go find the bar ourselves for a replacement.

We went for our anniversary. The atmosphere was really nice. It was a little pricey ($70/person), but we knew that it would be expensive going in. They definitely had a menu that was unique and offered dishes we’d never seen before. Depth of flavor was incredible. Wine paring was offered but we chose a bottle of one of the Cabs we liked. Service was excellent. For special occasions, Holly Hill would be a spot to consider.
