Very very busy on this Saturday night, the staff were working so hard to serve everyone, we did have to wait over an hour for food and our drinks to arrive, but the food was lovely, I don’t think I would go on Saturday night again as the place was crazy.

We had this restaurant recommended to us by numerous people and we had booked this table for my partner and I as it was my birthday. The food was really nice but the service totally let it down. What a disappointment. We had booked a table for 7.15pm and we were told as we were seated we had an hour and a half to eat. At 8pm we had only had a drink and one lot of starters, the service got slower and slower, by 9pm we had only had 2 drinks and 2 lots of starters. We then ordered 2 chicken noodles, rice, naan bread and sweet and sour chicken. It didn't come until 9.30pm and then one of the chicken chow meins was Tofu chow mein (we hadn't ordered this). Not once did as we asked if the food was ok. We were not asked if we wanted anymore drinks. We had to catch the last available bus home at 10.15pm. We asked to speak to the manager and he came and we told him our concerns and issues and dissatisfaction at the service we had received. He then offered us a bottle of Prosecco. We had never heard of it and when we checked online it was worth 3 euros 49. Also we don't drink Prosecco so we are not sure how that was meant to compensate for the lack of service, incorrect food and leaving the restaurant hungry as the portions are small and we couldn't eat the Tofu chow mein. We were so disappointed in our visit here.

The food we got on the whole was really nice. We opted for the all you can eat menu We ordered several dishes that just never turned up, despite asking for them repeatedly There was a very long wait inbetween ordering courses. The first course turned up promptly, we then waited over 30 minutes for the next courses. We ordered naans, rice and curry, the curry didn’t turn up. So had naan alone. We ordered drinks that also did not turn up The restaurant was very busy. The range of food on offer was really good. But the service needs looking at.

My first visit to Hoi Choi and I really enjoyed it. Clovis who served us was a very pleasant, friendly and attentive gentleman and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would recommend Hoi Choi a place to go.

The entire experience was fantastic. Rang only a few hours before to amend the reservation times which they accommodated with no issues. Arrived and was greeted by the fantastic service staff. The menu is very extensive and the food came within 5-10 minutes of ordering. It was hot and fresh and the quality was outstanding. The pricing is extremely reasonable considering the quality and service. Also had 2 for 1 drinks deals. 10/10 would defo recommend and will be revisiting for family celebrations.

Food was 1st class no long waiting about. Faz our waiter couldn't be any nicer explain how it all worked as 1st time coming
