We recently celebrated our anniversary at a lakeside restaurant, where we encountered several issues with the food and service. Despite the high cost of the meal, we were disappointed with the quality of the dishes. The seafood jambalaya was excessively salty, the Swiss onion soup lacked flavor, and the Caesar salad with blackened chicken was overcooked and dry. The appetizer, which was the special of the day, was the only satisfactory dish. It appeared that the restaurant was short-staffed, which may have contributed to the problems we experienced. Nevertheless, we were dissatisfied with the overall dining experience, especially considering the special occasion we were celebrating. As a result, we have decided to forgo dining out for future anniversaries and instead prepare a special meal at home. We plan to purchase a couple of beautiful lobster tails from a seafood store and cook them ourselves, creating a more enjoyable and memorable anniversary celebration.

Very good food and was quiet as we went close to closing. Steak was very nice.

Good, friendly service. Fish and chips. ...good. Mardi Gras blackened chicken wrap was delicious...a favorite. Enjoyable lunch.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, service was great, atmosphere was comfortable and the view was beautiful. Will definitely be back!

We have eaten here many times over the years. We love bringing family and friends here who are from outside the area. Great ambiance and view of Stoney Lake, however, we have frequently found that it takes a very long time to get your dinner. It took nearly hour and a half for our meal to arrive. We noticed that a table that came much later than us not only got their food before us, they actually left before we got our dinner. It was busy but not packed and we came on a Sunday evening. We also have found that every time we come, they are out of a number of things. One time that we came, they were out of steak and I ended up ordering something that I really didn’t want. This time they were out of salmon and the potatoes that I wanted. This always happens almost every time that we have gone. The food that we ended up ordering was good but not what we wanted. Server was very pleasant.

Requested closed patio. Sat at best table at front of patio overlooking marina and the lake. Our group had vegetable beef soup, blackened chicken Mardi Gras wrap, french fries. We thoroughly enjoyed all menu choices ....then completed our lunch with a delicious turtle cheesecake. Waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service.

A relaxed vibe with good food and friendly service. Excellent view of the sunset over Stoney Lake.

We had a great time. Our server Erin was fantastic! She recomended the blackened chicken wrap which was delicious. She was also fun and made us laugh. Can’t recommend this place highly enough! We will be back when we boat through again next season

Beautiful setting. Food ok but not up to prices. Tomato bisque more like thick pasta sauce
