Had seafood platter .. great value .. chips though stone cold . Asked waiter for small plate of hot chips .. a huge plate came fairly quickly so pretty good Seafood was lovely

Excellent choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. Whole experience spoiled by staff who seemed incompetent, slow, non-welcoming and disinterested.

We had a lovely meal but the service was average to poor mainly because I think it was a public holiday so they scrimped on staff wages - it was a big restaurant for 4 servers - the maître de could have assisted with the service.

Great food and table service, lamb shoulder was amazing... please keep this on the mains menu.

At $22 per average cocktail, they are more expensive than anywhere else in the area. Hurlstone Park Hotel (for example has comparable cocktails for $18), so they should’ve been great. They were not at all. The pizza ordered failed to rise properly, so it was hard and stodgy, not fluffy or light at all. This was bought to staff’s attention as we have had pizza from there before. They were told it wasn’t up to scratch, yet still charged us. A waiter claimed their “puffy bread” is different and that is the lighter bread. I am aware of that;- I’ve had both the bread and pizza there. My point was this pizza dough was hard and not risen at all. I even tapped the crust so he could hear the sound the hard dough made. Bone marrow was served still bleeding, not acceptable. They took it back to cook further. It was an entree and arrived back at table with ALL of the mains. This included the diner that ordered the bone marrow receiving both that and her main pasta couses AT THE SAME TIME. If you’re trying to be a “higher end” restaurant this should NEVER occur. Souvlaki chicken dry and “meh”.. according to that diner. My béarnaise sauce on my schnitzel was a few random artful drizzles;- not a sauce as advertised. Have been here a few times but this was godawful. Plenty of other places in the area to try that would have to really do badly to be worse than this experience. Style over pretty poor substance.

Food and drink were great. seating arrangement was nice next to the window. The airconditioning was just right so you don't have to notice it. The service was on point. we were asked if everything was ok and food came out of the kitchen not long after ordering. The music on the sound system was enjoyable. It was a great day out and the price was good value.
