The Hive Pavilion with wrap-around patio & a seasonal addition of the Top Marquee each offering far-reaching sea views and evening sunsets to each table.
Check in on arrival will be at the front desk in our main marquee. Please note at peak times there may be a slight delay on arrival for your table. Booked tables will be available for the time you have reserved, early access will not be permitted.

    We had to cancel lunch. We initially tried to change timings via phone and e mail but as nobody got back to us we had to cancel.

    On arrival, the female member of staff on the "desk" was more interested in her mobile phone than seeing to us. It too her nearly 5 minutes to notice us despite trying to attract her attention (other than physically touching her). She was the same all the way through the meal, not looking at customers but on her phone. At the end of the meal we had to leave our table to attract her attention to get the bill. The food, in comparison to previous times we have been there, was certainly in decline in it's value, quality and quantity. The chips were not real chips which was very surprising considering its a fish and chip restaurant. As for the fish, it was the smallest piece of fish I think I have every had and considering it was £19 was very poor value for money. In all, service was not good and the meal I considered poor value for money.

    We went for a 4.30pm sitting as we were travelling back home, disappointed that at this time there was no lobster Risotto it had sold out! The bill was wrong too. The Gurnard fish was very good as was the vegetables that accompanied it. If in the area again I would go back hopefully to be able to try the Risotto Lobster.

    Very disappointed with our meal we have had good meals in the past but yesterday was terrible Soggy batter in the fish and chips The Halibut was grey and over cooked Shame it’s gone off the boil

    Ordered fish and chips and the fish portion was small and not fresh enough compared to a local chippie, hence not good value. Atmoshere pretty good as is the service. The parking very expensive.

    Excellent lunch yesterday. Delicious fish and chips and crab sandwich. Helpful staff. Especially appreciated complementary drinks as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.

    I made the mistake of booking for 4:30pm on a Sunday. Staff were very clearly wanting to go home and preparations for the following day were in noisy progress. At an adjacent table, a waitress sat drying and sorting cutlery: aside from the noise, each fork was handled by its tines so we wiped our own cutlery as a precaution. Having been asked if we'd like the 'Seafood Nibble Board' BEFORE our mains, we affirmed. It arrived and shortly afterwards, so did our mains. I complained that this had happened on a previous visit, that we needed time to eat our starter and instructed the waiter to take the food away. He brought it back almost immediately and said that the kitchen had told him that we had to eat it now. Clearly, we were now at odds with the waiting staff, all of whom are young and poorly trained. No-one was in charge. The 'tidying up' was now in full flow with lots of disturbance and personal conversations and no attention to the few diners unless you waved or yelled. The food was not hot, the aioli had skinned over and the wine wasn't chilled. There didn't seem any point in mentioning this as we'd got nowhere with the first complaint. My friend on returning from the loo overheard the waiting staff effing about the 'boring day' they'd had. I guess that the holiday makers will put up with poor service, but I live here all the time so I can go elsewhere. I can no longer recommend this establishment: I have always brought my visitors here, but not any more. This was an expensive mistake.
