The Hive Pavilion with wrap-around patio & a seasonal addition of the Top Marquee each offering far-reaching sea views and evening sunsets to each table.
Check in on arrival will be at the front desk in our main marquee. Please note at peak times there may be a slight delay on arrival for your table. Booked tables will be available for the time you have reserved, early access will not be permitted.

Really good lunch, we enjoyed Lobster and Squid, good family lunch, I was pleased to find the NT car park had been extended to include two extra fields so no problem parking this time

The seafood nibbles were lovely though plates would be nice as a bit tricky managing over the bare table. My cod was amazing, thick and well cooked. Not so keen on the curry sauce but that was my choice. The staff were lovely and a credit to the Cafe. My only beef, as someone who likes a comfy seat, was the chairs. You sank into the middle and the front of the chair pushed hard into back of knees. I know that isn’t easy to alter - maybe cushions available for returning customers who know about the chairs? Sorry’

A very enjoyable lunch. Fish was fresh and extremely well cooked and very enjoyable. Service was friendly, helpful but not intrusive. The location is fun but not posh. Overall a very enjoyable experience and a great destination for a walk from West Bay.

Amazing food great service and a fab location well worth the drive out and wi certainly return maybe to the one up the road at West Bay. Continue doing what you do best

Hive beach cafe is an excellent place to eat. Fantastic views and a service to match. The price is a little on the high side but as long as you enjoy it is well worth it.

Service was quick, but not rushed, & efficient & our waitress was lovely. We had the fish & chips deal & the food was delicious and hot. Good size portions.

Beautiful location overlooking the beach. Great food, beautifully cooked fresh fish and lovely staff. Thoroughly recommended as a place to spend a rainy Dorset holiday afternoon.

We ordered the seafood platter and the fab meat was definitely old, it was inedible and dry. The waitress was really helpful and very kind. However, the chef said this was normal for brown crab meat and sent out white. We did not pursue this, but absolutely the crab meat we were served was not fresh and was inedible.

We always visit Hive Beach Cafe when we go on holiday to West Bay, which we try and do at least once a year. As always the food and service were superb. It’s one of our favourite places to eat, anywhere.
