The Hive Pavilion with wrap-around patio & a seasonal addition of the Top Marquee each offering far-reaching sea views and evening sunsets to each table.
Check in on arrival will be at the front desk in our main marquee. Please note at peak times there may be a slight delay on arrival for your table. Booked tables will be available for the time you have reserved, early access will not be permitted.

I have been here many times and yesterday's lunch visit was fantastic as always. The crab sandwiches and chilli lime calamari were to die for. We also ordered a whole lobster & king prawns to take away, and that too was delicious. Very impressed by the packaging, still maintaining the presentation of the dish. Great service from Eliza too... Will no doubt be back xx

The food was excellent. It was quite noisy and very busy, but the staff coped very well, in the circumstances.

Had a lovely afternoon. Managed to park directly outside. Had a lovely attentive waitress. Food was delicious, good selection of wines all very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Last time we went to this restaurant, there was a great little sharing platter to have as a starter. This time no starters and no specials which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, what we had was really delicious.

We have visited here many times & visited yesterday for lunch. Best to book as it gets busy. I had the fish & chips & my husband had the Monkfish tikka masala. The batter on the fish was light & crispy & the chips were crispy on the outside & soft in the middle..perfect. The monkfish was delicately spiced & hubby enjoyed it so much he's going to try it at home. The staff were attentive & efficient clearing away tables. Well be back again.

Great location but squid dish was soggy, rubbery and overly sweet. Staff young and friendly but slightly inept.

So nice to have a refreshing swim and walk off the beach for a perfect lunch (crab sandwiches and amazing prawns) in a great lively space - Hive Beach we love you !

Really disappointed that the Hive doesn't o the special dining experience of previous years,won't be visiting again sadly

Beautiful weather so ideal for lunch at The Hive on the beach. Service was quick, as was the arrival of the food. Drinks came afterwards though. We both had King Prawns and salad and the prawns were absolutely delicious. Let down though by the rest of the plate - the green salad looked like it had just been plonked on and the potato salad was pretty grim. Coleslaw and bread OK. Desserts (we had cake) were good. It was very busy but the staff coped very well. The only thing of note was that we had booked on-line and marked it as a birthday occasion - not that it was mentioned in any way!
