The Private Room is a functional space, but thanks to the half-moon window, prettily tiled floor and stone fireplace, it’s aesthetically pleasing as well. Available to hire for standing or seated functions, with a capacity of 45 or 33 guests respectively, the Private Room is ideal for business meetings, corporate lunches, special occasion dinners and cocktail parties. The glass doors and dividers assure the privacy of your event. We can fit up to 24 people in an imperial rectangular long table or up to 33 people in 3 round tables.

There is no doubt that there is no where better to eat proper Spanish food. The service is 2nd to none and the food is very special. Love the way that the waiters suggest how they would like to serve the food.

Jamon Croquettes were excellent! Iberica Pork Shoulder was really good too. Black rice was far too salty Monkfish bisque was so salty that we could not eat it at all Veal was a little overdone Bad day in the kitchen? It’s possible

Delicious and beautifully cooked food. The team were really helpful and friendly - wine recommendations were great and they really looked after us without being overpresent. A little pricey, but now one of my favourite places.

The food took an hour to arrive and when it did arrive was luke warm. The quality of the food was good, but not as good as it has been before.

Hispania is a delightful gem that offers an authentic and immersive Spanish dining experience right in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, the warm, inviting atmosphere, with its elegant decor inspired by traditional Spanish design, sets the stage for a memorable meal. The wine list is extensive, featuring a well-curated selection of Spanish wines that pair beautifully with the menu. The knowledgeable staff were more than happy to recommend the perfect bottle to complement our meal. Service at Hispania was attentive and friendly, with a team that clearly takes pride in the food they serve and the experience they provide. The only slight downside was that the pacing of the meal was a bit slower than expected, but this was a minor issue in what was otherwise a fantastic evening. The ambiance is a perfect blend of casual and refined, making it suitable for both intimate dinners and larger gatherings. Whether you’re a connoisseur of Spanish cuisine or simply looking to try something new, Hispania is a restaurant that delivers on its promise of genuine Spanish hospitality and flavors. Overall, Hispania is a wonderful choice for anyone seeking an authentic Spanish dining experience!

Overall a good restaurant. we were seated upstairs so not sure about the downstairs part. The waiters were friendly and nice and the food i would say was good not outstanding but very good. I think service was slow. For a restaurant in the City i would expect the service to be a bit quicker. we got there around 12.30 and didn't finish till 14.30 2 hours for lunch is a luxury for me although i probably expect that some city folk were fine with that. I would go again when i'm not in a rush
