Had high hopes for this place. Beautifully decorated, upscale looking. Food is good but not worth the price. Not a welcoming, comfortable vibe. As far as staff, a lot to be desired, especially the male manager or owner (not sure which) at the desk when entering. Very unwilling to accommodate with requests, unfriendly and quite rude! Overall, not a warm vibe, unfortunately just having an elegant look doesn’t always cut it, especially when spending around $200.00 plus some, for two at dinner, would expect a more pleasant experience! Been to many so called, upscale restaurants in the area and in the city but, this one doesn’t come close unfortunately. This is a one and done for us, had hoped for a five star by the looks of it but, overall doesn’t come close. A friendly, warm, welcoming staff, especially managers when dining out, go along way. Don’t mind paying the price when there is something to back it up! A one and done visit for sure, sad to say. 😞 AH

Consistently delicious! Beautiful presentation as well! Our server, Hugh, was the best. His knowledge of the entire menu, his sense of humor and his personalized attention made our dining experience here even better! We will continue to frequent Hiramasa!

We absolutely loved it. They accommodated us with a last minute reservation in a private spot. ALL of our food was delicious. The fish was fresh and the presentation was so special. Loved the salmon rolls, and OMG roll. The wagyu gyoza was so good and same with the yellowtail raw appetizer. Don’t sleep on the soups! And they even had mocktails for us for dry January! We can’t wait to come back again soon for happy hour drinks and food. Thank you for the special night!!

This place is great for Date night and dining with friends. The food and display is great. The servers are friendly and respectful.

Don't be fooled by it's strip mall location, the ambiance once you walk through the door is wonderful and the people are all that you hope for. This is our second visit in a month and we found the menu to be expansive and delicious and the staff knowledgeable in assisting with questions as to the ingredients and preparation. The wine and cocktail list is equally good. It is so nice to have a wonderful Japanese restaurant in the area! We highly recommend it!

Overall, this is 33% more expensive than Azie and 50% as good. Peppers and rock shrimp were good. Sea bass entree was excellent. 4oz of cold steak in the kaeski platter was insulting for 42$. Dinner for 2 with 2 apps, 2 entrees, a desert with no alcohol or mocktails shouldn’t be 190$ with a gratuity. Average experience with extraordinary price tag.

I have been to many restaurants. I love going out to eat. I enjoy high end restaurants, middle of the road places and ultra casual places. I can honestly say this place was one of the best places I have experienced. From the doors to the ambiance it was a home run

Wonderful dinner. We had excellent service, ambiance was nice, sushi rolls were great and drinks were top notch. Will definitely go back.
