The hotel isn’t much to look at from the exterior, but the interior is much more pleasant. The restaurant brunch menu had a wide variety of items and the service was great. They were attentive without being overbearing and the food came out relatively quickly. I would go again and would recommend.

Was not able to dine. Unsure of why the 9:30pm reservation is even offered if they seem to close at that time.

Food was good, and beautiful restaurant. The servers all seemed flustered or too busy to go the extra mile to be friendly and hospitable.

The place is very nicely put together, small but stylish. Food is ok, good portions. My dinner experience was so disappointing though… service staff were kind of rude, in a constant hurry, waiter served wine and wiped the finish (or mouth) of the bottle with his own fingers! And they were constantly taking plates away from our table, as soon as they figured we were done, rushing us. When making reservations online I was asked if we were celebrating anything in particular, I specified that my party was celebrating a birthday (which was one of the options), but nothing came of it. SO SAD

With the new chef and post-covid the menu changes the prices have skyrocketed. I've eaten at Secco for many, many years whenever I go to performances downtown.......which is often! Last time the service was bad as it was busy and not enough wait staff. Last night it wasn't too crowded and service was great. My big disappointment is the salads. I have always ordered a dinner salad because it's light and works well before the theater or symphony. You don't have dinner salads on the menu now. Just simple lettuce salads. Before you had a fabulous spinach salad and chief salad. The price of a glass of wine has gone up, up, up. What before was a reasonable dinner for a salad and glass of wine has gone up to $64.33 - what I paid last night. Each time I'm gone lately I'm surprised at my bill but I forget and continue to return. Next time I'll be looking for a new favorite spot when I'm in downtown San Jose.

I guess I was expecting more. The food was alright, but my drink was extremely sweet. I requested the outside but got seated inside. They boast having an amazing patio at sunset, but being stuck between two large buildings... it was just overly promoted for what it was. All in all, it was just alright. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't amazing either.

Not great. Understand there was a conference nearby but hit there and they only had a Buffett with a fish, a meat, horrible rice and a salad. We were told no menu today after sitting down. Service non existent and food forever to get our bill so we could leave. Also to be fair - Did also have breakfast there earlier in the morning which was pretty good food wise and service.

Love this place for its service and food quality. It is so convenient for a delicious meal before a show @SJCPA. We highly recommend it!

Great place for Valentines Day Dinner. Staff was a bit pushy but overall friendly. Food was great and came with prosecco for their set menu.
