Please be advised. Friday and Saturday's dinner service is Exclusive Omakase experience only. Omakase chef tasting menu is $175 Per Person (price does NOT include beverage and gratuity). Each section will take 120 minutes. (4:30pm to 6:30, 7:30 to 9:30)
For all parties, 100% of cost per person + tax will be charged at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the reservation date will not be refunded. Cancellations made before the 72-hour time period will be refunded 50% of total cost per person + tax.

Reduction in the number of guests in the party are subject to cancellation charge.
Please be on time to enjoy all the courses. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.
Omakase means a meal consisting of dishes selected by the chef.
Chef will create some courses with seasonal, and best available ingredients.

Please call Hikari (530) 564-4356 to request Tuesday to Thursday night dinner. Walk-ins are welcome during the weekday Mini Omakase service.

On par and in some way better than Michelin Star Omakase we have had in major cities. Hikari is a large gem in the little town of Davis.

Beautiful experience. Every detail down to the lighting is well thought out and executed. It is as much an education in sushi preparation and Japanese culinary arts as it is a meal. The staff are all so hospitable. The food is incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Hikari was amazing. The food and service were exceptional! The ambience of the restaurant is relaxing. The chef and staff were knowledgeable and very attentive. Their genuine hospitality and impeccable service made it a perfect evening. Thank you so much!!

Great service. Unique experience. We love the enthusiasm and pride they have in their food. It was a lot of food for us though.

It is pricy, but the food and experience is exceptional. We learned a lot, had a good time and the food was delicious.

It’s an expensive Omikase experience but the experience is fantastic. The restaurant only seats 12 and the quality of the food is excellent. The service was outstanding and I enjoyed hearing the chef’s explain each course I left the restaurant with my appetite satisfied but certainly not overly full.

From the first tasting to the green tea ice cream dessert, we had an amazing gastronomic experience. The blue tuna to the uni, wow - what an experience.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Hikari Sushi & Omakase and had a wonderful time. Though expensive the food was tasty and prepared in front of us with great care and explanations of the food and techniques throughout the 2 hour and 20 tasting dishes. The dining was part of an overall wonderful experience. We were treated like guests in the owner's and chef's homes not in just any restaurants.
