This place was fabulous. This was my first time in New York and I was trying to find a place for my daughter's 30th birthday. I tried others that wanted me to pay up front. We had an excellent waitress and I wish I had gotten her name. The drinks and food were fabulous. They accommodated our every need, moving us 3 times. We had the place to ourselves at 8 at night just by chance and I recommend it a thousand times over. Just wonderful

Delicious , quality food options and full bar. Service was a bit slow, maybe do to the layout of the establishment. But the servers were very friendly during our interactions.

The place seemed very depressing and quiet. The photos were a lot better than the actual place. That said the service was good. Didn’t try the food so cant really comment on the food and the wine was good.

No mimosa flights which is one of the reasons we chose this restaurant. Food was good (waffle platter.) Seating was metal and wobbly. Overall, just okay for the price.

On a trip to NYC, we booked one Saturday night my daughter and I. When we arrived, no one to welcome us, we went upstairs and a server told us that there was a private event. Why not let us know when you book? We then went to what looks more like a balcony than a terrace, we ordered drinks and food, the server brought us the drinks after 30 minutes, and we had to wait another hour for the food! 1h30 waiting to be served!!! No excuse from the waiter who was very arrogant, he served us an extremely spicy soup not edible, when it was not noted on the menu, and three small burgers, without the potatoes and salad on the menu. A total lack of respect from the staff!!! This was our last evening in NYC and my birthday, our final stay was spoiled by this experience. New Yorkers and tourists, run away!!!!

This is a great place for small bites and unusual cocktails!!! It has wonderful views too. The food was wonderful as were the cocktails. I would highly recommend.

I had the chicken skewers and it was amazing… loved the food and the cocktails were also good …I went there on a Wednesday evening and it was not that crowded but had a good vibe …the music here is banging and loved the ambience…it’s a small private rooftop bar in downtown …definitely a must go!!!

I can say I was definitely disappointed with Highwater. Not as nice as it looks in the pictures. The brick on the ground was broken, we couldn’t use the upstairs patio. Overall a disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend. Lots of other places with much better views & value for the money!

Really great time. It was very slow when we went - but our server was so nice & attentive. The brunch was simplistic and to the point. Overall nice time :)

Would love to give this place 0 stars if i could. We came to this rooftop at about 3/315 with reservations in hopes we can get a drink and get an app or two. We get there and it was basically empty, and we thought wow what a hidden gem that its Memorial Day weekend and a rooftop is empty! Should have realized there is a reason why it was empty. The only worker is just the bartender who is also the waiter, and he gave us the drinks and cocktail menu. When he finally returned to get our order he told us the kitchen was closed!! He could have told us from the start the kitchen was closing soon but he failed to do so. We could have overlooked the lack of food if the espresso martini flight was good but wow it was atrocious. The worst espresso martini ever, if you want brown colored water with garnishes then this is your spot! If you want to wait 20/30 min to place an order this is most definitley your spot!
