We really enjoyed our meal and thought the restaurant was a welcoming space with a good ambience. Service was attentive and the staff were friendly. Food was very good - but also very expensive. They are very dog friendly which is a joy. If there was any feedback it was that for £29 the Sunday roast wasn't huge and the meat portion was small (only one large slice of beef). Also that we'd prefer a choice of meats on a Sunday lunch menu - today only beef was offered which was quite unusual we thought. Overall though a positive experience and we'd go back to try other dishes and sample the interesting cocktail list.

Greenwich can be a bit touristy….. not this place. Everything great, everything real and considered.

Service was slow. Everything else was ok. I find the room lacks warmth (literally) and metaphorically.

The restaurant has a pleasant vibe, although the time it took to get anything was poor; almost half an hour for a drink to appear. They told us after 20 minutes that the starter wasn’t available and it took a long time to get some olives. The quality of the burgers was OK, although chips not included in the price which then hiked to £23 for a burger and chips. It was exceptionally slow to get the meal; not sure why as there appeared to be ample waiting staff.

Wine was warm, starters were forgotten and two plates of cheese and charcuterie were VERY expensive for such small portions. No bread available - ran out. Really basic error. Over £100 for not very much at all. Such a shame.

Food was great, service was dire, verging on the incompetent. Failed to deliver the correct items and when we pointed it out they told us we were wrong. It was chaotic and awkward, which was a shame because the food was delicious.

It’s good that something has opened up in the former Rivington, and somewhere a bit better than the fast food chains. But we were confused by the menu: it claims to be based on sharing small plates, but most of the dishes are described either at ‘hot plates’ or large plates, plus some classic starters. There was little I would describe as sharing, and very little description about how something is cooked or portion sizes. We ended up with a perfectly good but boring burger and a well-cooked bavette steak, and although we did share them (the bavette was on the small side) it was all a bit odd. Plus the few sides (including the fairly generous fries) are ordered separately - it was unclear which dishes are served with accompaniments. I think a menu rethink might improve things.

This is a very welcome addition yo Greenwich and it just gets better and better. We had a great evening with friends, the new autumn menu is delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A welcome and much needed addition to the Greenwich restaurant scene - an interesting and varied menu and excellent value. This place deserves to do well.
