The luxe 11,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop, lounge, pool and grill is set high above Hollywood with unparalleled aerial views of the famed Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles skyline. The Highlight Room’s chic, modern sundeck is the ideal destination to relax by the pool on plush loungers or in luxurious private cabanas, while enjoying a light menu and handcrafted refreshments. The restaurant serves guests signature drinks and freshly prepared Californian fare from breakfast until mid-day. At sundown, this Hollywood retreat opens its doors to the rooftop bar and lounge.

Very good but, maybe the food can be a little better. Considering the prices on the hotel. Overall I really liked all of it and the food was amazing and great portions and beautiful view :>

It took us 35+ minutes to get our first drink and while waiting, we were told we needed to leave within 30 min as they had an event. We were never told of this prior & after asking if they had a table somewhere else we could sit at, the manager suggested that maybe we don’t eat there. They ended up putting us in a front table with mediocre service and mediocre food. Absolutely will not be returning

The salmon was undercooked, the steak overcooked, the fries were burned, the wait staff came to our table 3 times total, the bathroom was flooded, I was charged full price for 5 diet Pepsis and only received 3. The experience was so bad it became hilarious as we left the restaurant.

Wonderful staff! My husband was celebrating his 40th with friends. Only a couple of hiccups with drinks being delayed and ordered incorrectly. No biggie! We had a great time!

I had a very poor experience here. Our waiter was the main factor why we had such a lousy experience. Firstly, we waited about 30-45 minutes just for one alcoholic beverage. I would understand if we ordered multiple drinks but that long of a wait for one drink is ridiculous, especially since the place was not too crowded. We ordered two very simple dishes and once again there was such a long wait that by the time the food came it was already getting cold. I think we must have seen our waiter for a combined total of 5 minutes. He never checked in once to see how everything was going. We asked for a desert menu but once again our waiter just disappeared into thin air. By the time he came back we asked once again for a dessert menu and he told us that it was too late because the kitchen was closed. The worst service possible. It’s too bad because the food and ambience were overall great, but the service is bad enough to avoid this place like the plague. We came here to celebrate a birthday and we couldn’t even do that.

Menu was very limited and just okay; the real reason to go there is because of the roof top view. My partner enjoyed the fish but my biggest hang up was that everything was served in plastic! Really, even our $85 bottle of lovely Sauvignon Blank (that our waitress managed to spill removing the cork) was served in heavy plastic tumblers. The thing that saved our visit was the nice couple next to us that made it so much more enjoyable
