At the apex of Dream Hollywood is TAO Group's newest dining and nightlife concept, The Highlight Room. The luxe 11,000-square-foot outdoor rooftop, lounge, pool and grill is set high above Hollywood with unparalleled aerial views of the famed Hollywood sign and the Los Angeles skyline. The Highlight Room’s chic, modern sundeck is the ideal destination to relax by the pool on plush loungers or in luxurious private cabanas, while enjoying a light menu and handcrafted refreshments. The restaurant serves guests signature drinks and freshly prepared Californian fare from breakfast until mid-day. At sundown, this Hollywood retreat opens its doors to the rooftop bar and lounge.

Went in thinking it could be subpar food, was very wrong. Flatbread and Truffle Fries were both awesome, as was the Branzino. Definitely coming back

This was a nice place for golden hour. Disappointed with waitress. Barely checked on us. Spend more time chatting with co-worker’s. Loved the view’s & ambiance. Happy to have met some nice people there!

Terrific, I asked for a special request, to write “will you be my girlfriend” in chocolate sauce. They don’t have chocolate sauce, instead, they brought a HUGE sign spelling out “will you be my girlfriend” along with 10/10 mango cheesecake and a sparkler for effect. I love this place, I recommend to everyone!

Found this place last minute to celebrate my birthday. The food was amazing especially our server. The view was also a plus!

This restaurant used to be nicer a couple of years ago. The best part about this restaurant was the view but the rooftop windows were dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a couple of days if not weeks so there is a glare when you’re taking pictures. The music selection also used to be more pumped and it was very mellow.

We got there on time for our reservations and our table wasn’t even ready. And they brought out our food so late. And plotter people that came later were served first. The water was so warm especially during a heat wave, just disappointed for our first time.

We spent my birthday dinner at the Highlight Room Grill. It was not packed as it was a Tuesday evening and it was relatively during an early dinner time. It was early enough we caught happy hour which was a nice surprise and kept costs down. The food was pleasantly all delicious. Our server was sweet and kind, but you can tell staff (such as the hostess) were a bit snooty, but what do you expect in Hollywood. We had such a beautiful view. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Most rooftop restaurants with great views either do not have good food or good service, many times lacking both. Which is why I was impressed with this place because it has both! The food is a little pricy; I got the chicken sandwich, which costs almost $30. But at the end of the day, you’re also paying for the ambiance and this place certainly has that. I’d definitely come again for a special occasion.

Great overall experience but after visiting this location more than once. The speed of service could use more attention. Takes a while to get seated or have anyone take your order. Once you get past that its a great experience.
