Highland Lodge is pleased to offer a full service Restaurant & Bar on site. Enjoy the sunset views over Lake Caspian from the convenience of our Queen Anne Porch or nestle up to our cozy little bar and get to know your neighbors and drinkmakers. Our cocktail list has been described as one of the best in the state. With a focus on local, organic food we are proud to be honored with the 2024 Gold Barn Distinction through Vermont Fresh Network- spending at least 35% of our annual food Purchasing budget on local food & products.

We are just a stone's throw from Hill Farmstead Brewery which has been rated #1 in the world several years running. We have a permanent HFS draft line at our bar as well as other local Vermont favorites.

In the Summer months our bar is open for Margarita Monday as we host Caja Madera Taco Truck out in the beer garden from 5-9pm [ Memorial Day- Labor Day ]. On Thursdays we host Trivia starting at 7pm.

We’re pouring it all. Your hosts? The Ladies of the Lodge—here to keep things charming, cheerful, and maybe a little cheeky. Whether you’re celebrating Mother’s Day, escaping the Sunday shift grind, or just in the mood for a whimsical afternoon—we’ve got you. Feeling extra? Grab your tickets on OpenTable and add on a bouquet-making mini-class—yep, you’ll leave with a handmade floral stunner. Spots are limited and these mini pies don’t stick around—so grab your seat before they’re gone. P.S. We’ll have cocktail and wine carafes available, too. Because, why not? Everyone’s welcome. Always such a friendly welcome at the Highland Lodge. Creative cocktails, great beer, a good selection of food options - even for us vegans - and delightful service, makes for a fun meal out.

Wonderful dining experience at a local must visit while in Greensboro! Fantastic service from start to finish and delicious food options! Everything we tried was amazing! Highly recommended!

Service was excellent and our server was friendly, attentive, and professional.Food was ok, not memorable. Very limited options for non-meat eaters. Many children in the dining room with parents not caring how noisy and disruptive they were to other diners. Server was equally disturbed by this and management did nothing to limit the chaos. Waste of money and a spoiled special night out for $225 for two people.

Greetings Ebensteins, We ( the management ) did speak with the families several times and asked to move their children to the game room. Other diners commended our efforts. The families with children are also paying lodge guests utilizing the space, we are a kid friendly lodge, it is a delicate balance. Sorry you found the food lackluster, below is a list of the items that are vegetarian that can also be made GF: Highland House Salad * Warm Spinach Salad * Wedge Salad * Local Cheese Board Wild Mushroom Toast * Spiced Carrots * Butternut Squash Lasagna* Braised Cabbage & lentil Fritter * Mushroom Stroganoff * Separately, I would like to point out that this $225 bill included two cocktails, four beers, a bottle of wine, salads and entrees for two, as well as tax/ gratuity.

Everything about our experience was wonderful, the food, beverages, staff and the inn’s historic charm. We’ve already booked a return reservation.

Nice Vermont Ski Lodge ambience. Food and drinks were excellent, the duck and the mushroom pasta dishes were fabulous. Server was friendly and courteous, not too fast because they were busy for the holiday weekend but we weren’t in a hurry!
