Rendezvous Melbourne is where old world grandeur meets new world charm and the ambiance is as unique as the experience. The high tea is served in the iconic heritage lounge as well as the vestibule, which features original Edwardian Baroque architecture dating back to 1912.

Located on Flinders St with easy access to Flinders St Station and a tram stop at the doorstep, there is also parking available next door at 300 Flinders St (Secure Parking).

The High Tea at the Rendezvous Hotel was outstanding, exceptional service and beautiful setting.

For myself and my friend, overall it was hugely disappointing experience. I was visiting from interstate, so we decided to go here. Personally it was too sweet. We were the only two people having high tea at this time. The staff understandably where more focused on other events upstairs being a wedding and hen's afternoon, so there was limited interaction with the staff, except to get our coffee orders

Place was amazing Service wasn’t - had to keep asking for when our food was coming and drinks I was asked 3 times if I paid which was embarrassing as I did pay with the manager

Scones and sandwiches were fine. Pastries were tasteless. Couldn't tell one flavour from the other. Didn't seem fresh. Service was terrific, our Attendant was friendly and efficient.

Our group really enjoyed the High Tea, thank you, the room was charming and the waiter ver polite and attentive. The glass of sparkling wine was very nice and the food was exquisite. I recommend Rendezvous for an excellent High Tea at a very competitive price, compared to other hotels.

The food wasn’t what was on their website. They all tasted the same. The parking wasn’t cheaper as advertised.

Amazing high tea, everything was fantastic from the start. The food all looked and taste 5 star with champagne to match. Would do this experience again. Enrico was our waiter. Very helpful and pleasant.

The host was an intrusion, interrupting our conversation and wanting the bill to be paid before we finished afternoon tea. The cakes were stale, the sandwich bread was dry and the flat white was lukewarm overall it was below standard surprising for a hotel of this reputation.
