The High Note Sky Bar is a full-service, lushly landscaped rooftop garden which was named as one of the Top 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the World by Condé Nast Traveller in 2018. The sky bar offers fine-drinking cocktails, an exciting bar food selection and an extensive wine list, all while granting a breathtaking view of Budapest and a front-row ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica.

Great food, large selection of beverages, and waitresses are really welcoming. The only drawback is the view, covered by a few building. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere is however covering that drawback. I would largely recommend. 👍

What a gorgeous restaurant/bar and view! But simply not the ambience and evening we hoped for. It was a little lacking and lots of staff standing around at all times making it a little awkward. We did not eat here but Open Table required I rate the food so I can’t comment here. Drinks were an interesting selection and were not value for money for us. We had very little ‘service’ but required to pay high % service charge meaning we spent £80 for 8 simple drinks but you do pay for the location and fantastic decor.

We had some wonderful cocktails, and it was refreshing to get some spicy nuts to accompany the beautifully ceafted drinks. We did order one savory dish (goat cheese croquettes), though just bite sized, it was served tastefully, and tasted delicious. We recommend the lee-chi cocktail! It is an expensive place, but with a beautiful ambiance, great vibes and perfect place to celebrate something.

Ambience and view are spectacular! Even though it was raining when I went there, it was still beautiful. The wait staff is superb, drinks are inventive and yummy, and food was delicious. Everyone who works there is attentive without being overbearing. I still walked outside to the rooftop view in the rain and while I was snapping photos, my server came out to help me get some awesome photos. It’s a truly great way to see the city from the top.

We had the most wonderful evening celebrating our anniversary. The service in particular was outstanding, we were served by Sofia who went above and beyond from sorting allergens, taking our photos and helping us create personalised cocktails that we would love. The food was wonderful, we would recommend the octopus for the main and goats cheese croquettes for the starters. The view of St Stephen’s Basilica is magnificent and you can’t appreciate it from the street.
