It was our third time eating there and it doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for a chill place, awesome service and innovative food flavors, you should try it. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to dine there but that hotel is very inviting too.

I ordered the catch of the day with a salad … the waitress explained the fish was a white firm fish, when I received my meal the fish was inedible …the fish was so tough I could not even cut through it with my knife!!!! I tried flaking tiny pieces off with my fork, since I could not cut into it, and the tiny little bits that I was able to get were so dry and the flavor was horrible . We are big fish eater’s…but this was not even edible .. and I could not cut a bite off… the texture of the fish was not right. We have been to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed it. I think that when you pay a high dollar amount for fish it should be edible and be a good quality piece of fish… this was not!!! Such a disappointment …. We will never go back to the Hideout again!!! 😡

The Hideout has been great for years. A for sure couple visits per trip to Waikiki. There is some slip in the last couple visits. The Avacado Best salad is strangely heavy on the Goat cheese and had black avacados. 2visits and food quality felt below the normal and the fight to have a conversation with the over loud music was painful.

Only had drinks which were good but a bit pricey. The staff and particularly the parking crew were stellar as usual. I mention parking as it is always full and they work magic taking care of the vehicles. I park there often as they take good care and are always courteous.
