Ordering was an ordeal as the staff didn't know the menu, therefore couldn't guide. The dumpling shins were very thick and paired incorrectly. For example, chicken & corn, with a black vinegar in the base of the plate. Egg noodles we're amazing, satay chicken skewers brilliant, Bao chicken karrage fantastic. Couldn't find the bug in the bug Bao covered in vermicelli noodles. The lotus chips were almost too crispy, small and needed to be thicker. Overall it was ok, yet nothing special.

The food was excellent and the wait staff were very friendly. However, they were either short-staffed in the kitchen or simply taken on more customers than they could handle, as it took over an hour for any food to appear on our table. After the food arrived, we also had to ask four times for a plate to eat from. Just not a great experience.

Been manag times . Standard of food appears to have slipped. Food not as flavoursome and sauces just ok .

We had a lovely birthday meal at the back. Surprised to get a free cocktail with Sparkles as it was my birthday. The food was so delicious and cheap. We used the $69 per person where you get to choose 3 x smaller plates, 2 x bigger plates, a rice and a saled. So much food we needed a take away container. We definitely coming back again.as service was fantastic as well. Thankyou 🤗

Hideaway has been a stable for years sadly it seems overtime. The food has got a little more bland. The atmosphere is so great and so friendly however it seems to have lost its shine for slightly better food around the foreign five stars. Still a good place to eat but not amazing overall 2 1/2 to 3 stars.

Of our table of 6, 4 of us hadn’t been here before - they all loved it! We ordered the Street Feast & it was exceptional, can’t wait to come back. Thank you Hideaway!
