My wife and I went here for our 16th wedding anniversary. Our server was phenomenal! Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. For a golf course restaurant the atmosphere is very nice. The patio seating, which is covered, overlooks the beautiful course and we actually witnessed a rehearsal wedding event on the greens. We sat inside because it was a very warm day but will do the patio on a cooler day/evening. Overall, loved our experience and will patron again.

As always another fine dinner. Had the pork ribs. They were bite thru tender and exceptionally tasty. Along with the potato salad and baked beans with shredded pork!!! Please keep this entree on the menu!!!

It's a beautiful view of the golf course, which combined with some of the best staff, makes this a go to for us. While the menu isn't huge, it covers the bases.

They don’t allow pets on the patio, but it is not on their website. We drive all the way there to find this out

Well prepared food, served at proper temp. The server was an earnest young man; friendly and helpful, but never overly solicitous. The server and the kitchen must communicate better! The result was a maddening (!) dump of all plates (appetizer, salad and main) all at the same time. And, dressing was added to the salad rather than on the side, We'll likely go again as our guests really enjoy the place. Next time, I'll know to order 1 dish at a time. Lovely setting. A little too noisy, but we communicated fine. Now, just get the kitchen and service staffs to make a plan and work the plan.

Hickory restaurant is a lovrly place! Nice menu, not too pricey, and nice options! The cocktail menu had some lovely choices, and I can honestly say we had the best creme brulee I've ever tasted. The staff were very friendly! We will definitely be going back again!

This is the second time I have lunched here with friends. The terrace overlooking the golf course is the main selling point. It is shady, cool, and beautiful. The first time we had lunch here in May, the food was OUTSTANDING. This last time, it was artistically prepared but not as good. The main difference was the shrimp used in the dishes. The first time they were very large, not over-seasoned, and tender to the bite. The second time, small, heavily salted, and dry. This has been our experience with the Hickory since they opened: one visit everything is outstanding. The second time, disappointing. We keep coming back in hope that outstanding will become the norm. The location makes it worth trying.

We had Sunday brunch and the menu was varied and delicious. We got the veggie omelette, steak hash and eggs Benedict and they were all good. The breakfast potatoes with the omelette and Benedict were very good, much better than the limp shredded hash browns a lot of places serve. Great server and lovely view of the golf course. We will return!

Pretty view of the golf course. Hostess was sweet. Server was efficient but not friendly or warm in the slightest. Dinner was hurried along as if they were busy with people waiting for tables. (They weren’t) Food was ok. Lacked seasoning and the descriptions on the menu were much superior to what was delivered. Menu on website didn’t match what was given at the restaurant (for those of us who pre plan our meals) Drink was pretty but tasted nothing like what the description… Server didn’t ask how any of the food or drink was until after dinner was dropped off. All in all I would not recommend.

Great dinner for 7 of us. Would have been nice to sit outside but the tables on the deck only accommodate 6 people.
