I had originally made a 5:00 pm reservation for a party of four, and by chance my schedule had opened up for a whole another hour; I had called Hey Yuet in advance to confirm if I can change the reservation and they were able to easily accommodate for this. When we had arrived at 4:15 pm, the restaurant was quiet yet the staff were undeterred by the lack of movement to still provide excellent service. My party had order the Steamed Char Siu Bao (dim sum) to start followed by Mala Beef, Sha Cha Beef and Crispy Fried Rice. The dim sum was a delicious start on this Cantonese cuisine endeavor. The steamed dough and pork complemented each other well. The Mala Beef was spicy yet hardy that can easily accommodate for 4 (accompanied with a small bowl of white rice for each guest) whilst the Sha Cha Beef combined a palette of sweet and savory to quell the heat of the previous dish. Finally, the Crispy Fried Rice had satiated our hunger for the evening. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try authentic quality Cantonese food without breaking the bank.

Great Chinese restaurant for Chelsea. Authentic Cantonese cuisine moderately price and quite delicious. Nice ambience, it felt like old Hong Kong or Shanghai. Service was good but could have been more attentive by clearly the table regularly.

Amazing food and service. Have enjoyed both dim sum during the day and complete dinner for 4 at night, plus delivery. 100% consistently fabulous!

We didn't expect much when we arrived but we were wrong. We were greeted by a friendly waiter and promptly seated. The dim sums were pretty impressively authentic and good. Service was very good and we were not rushed like some restaurant in Chinatown. Interior had nice decorations and was pretty clean. Overall, we had a good time. We will definitely go back.

The food was great and very fairly priced! The service was amazing and they even messaged me on open table that we had left sunglasses at the table and could pick them up another day if needed. I really appreciated that! It was a great experience overall and I will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic evening at Hey Yuet, and everyone was so surprised that we could find such good food within walking distance of Penn Station. Highlights were the shrimp dumplings, beef cubes, water spinach and jasmine tea! Loved the unique decor.

Food was delicious. Server was very helpful- I have some diet restrictions and he helped me figure out what I could eat. A good experience.

Service was a little slow, but it was also very crowded. Food was spectacular and came out quickly once we ordered.
