Good, varied menu and wine list. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely quirky venue, would recommend.

The food was well cooked - roast beef was lovely - but they were frozen roasties unfortunately. The veg was delicious and a good selection. One of us had the pie which was also good and another had chicken schnitzel which was also thoroughly enjoyed. It was busy, being a Sunday, and there was a bit of a wait for the puddings. Staff were friendly and the setting was warm and comfortable.

First visit, not only was the food excellent, but all the staff were very friendly and made you feel relaxed and so welcomed.

Lovely atmosphere for a family get together meal. Food was excellent, staff attentive and very good value. Would highly recommend

Friendly, efficient service, lovely quaint pub with a beautiful beer garden leading to canal, excellent food. Highly recommended.

Lovely setting, pleasant staff but v overpriced for small portions. £14.95 for a tiny lasagne (which was no better than a microwave one) & an extra £2.95 for garlic bread, sad as we were having a lovely night & felt ripped off.

Ate off the £12 lunch menu my chicken wrap wasn’t that good my friend had Gammon was lovely another had Fis butty lovely there only small portions but enough….i would go back but order something else Dessert & drink was nice but everything seemed a little disorganised….only had one dessert available out of 3….bit disappointed

Husband had mixed grill which he liked, I had lasagna which was very tasty but small portion I thought. Son and husband had steak on grill and waiter didn’t know which was which. Cooked differently.
