Hern is a relaxed but ambitious bistro from chef Rab Adams, located in the suburb of Chapel Allerton in North Leeds. Rab and his team build menus by focusing on products that are in season and at their best. Organic vegetables, local cheeses, heritage-breed meat and wild fish all feature heavily.

Small but perfectly formed! Lovely welcome - it was our wedding anniversary and we received a glass of bubbly on the house on arrival. We chose to have the additional fish course, definitely a good option. The whole meal was put together beautifully, quality ingredients and without fussiness. No airs and graces, just a lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

A super restaurant with outstanding food, all freshly cooked to order. From the snacks that were brought to the table through the starter, main course to the dessert, everything was delicious, created from scratch in the kitchen and innovative. Even the ricotta was produced in house. The home made sourdough was very moreish! The service was excellent too and each dish was explained to us knowledgeably and with a smile. The selection of wines, alcoholic and soft drinks was extensive and really good. We cannot recommend Hern highly enough.
