Tasting menu only. We politely decline modifications. Please specify all dietary restrictions/allergies when booking your reservation. We require a 48-hour notice for gluten-free & pescatarian requests. We can *not* accommodate vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free or seafood-free diets. Our most recent menu can be viewed on our website. Our menu is seasonal, and subject to *daily* changes.
Heritage Restaurant uses sustainable meat, fresh seafood, and Farmers Market produce. We are certified blue, green, and maintain a zero-waste kitchen. Heritage is family owned and operated by Chef Philip Pretty and sister Lauren Pretty. Our lively indoor dining room was built in 1922 as a craftsman house. Walk inside to an open kitchen, request bar seating to watch us cook over a live fire Santa Maria grill. Located in the Rose Park neighborhood of Long Beach on the corner of 7th & Saint Louis Ave. Newly awarded Michelin Star and green star in 2023. Just doin our own thing out in Long Beach.

Best restaurant in Long Beach by far. Formal prix fixe, but decent value compared to many such places. Very friendly, not stuffy at all.

The team did a phenomenal job on celebrating my friend’s birthday, and they also did a recognition on the soon the be mom, with adjustments on her drinks and how to cook her protein. We absolutely love every details. We were both mind blown by the endive dish. Looking forward to come back again to try the new menu items.

The food was very good. We did the wine pairing too. The different wines with the courses was very good. We were able to try wines we normally don’t drink. We also tried food we normally don’t eat and we found it to be very good. We really enjoyed our time at Heritage.

The food was imaginative and delicious but the overall experience was spoiled by the noise level. Too many table were crammed into a small dining room and it made dinner conversation challenging. Disappointing for a Michelin star restaurant.

Food is always amazing. The bread course was our least favorite. Price went up $30 after we reserved 😕 and we added truffles so it became quite an expensive dinner. I liked the presentation of the truffles but not a lot of flavor. Overall, we enjoyed the food

This is a fine dinning experience! Very high level of food and the staff are spot on. The price point is high that's why I put one star but worth every penny!

Mid week and parking was a bear. $25 valet was busy, but I'm cheap, we walked. (Right, cheap...dinner for 2 with tip $600) That was worth it.

We love Heritage, I keep an eye out for menu changes, and we always get dressed up and make an evening of it. We want to support this level of dining experience in Long Beach. Food presented artfully with amazing quality, bursting with flavors that can be differentiated, subtle undertones, nothing overpowering another ingredient, all ingredients complementary. I'm a texture person also, I've always enjoyed that part of the Heritage experience. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable, warm, but not intrusive. Great evening provide by Heritage once again. Appreciate your teams efforts to provide our experience.
