D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Depuis ses débuts en 2016, le restaurant appartenant à Lien Ta s'est imposé comme un incontournable du quartier, un succès critique et un tiers-lieu très prisé des Angelenos. En effet, HLAY (comme l'appellent les locaux·ales) propose des petits plats innovants d'inspiration californienne et asiatique, comme la panna cotta à l'uni ou la salade César aux épices et à la chapelure de sésame, ainsi qu'une excellente sélection de cocktails, le tout dans une salle animée, donnant ainsi l'impression de se retrouver à un repas de fête tous les soirs.

Went for Dine LA and all I can say is, I hope they add the chicken wings and branzino to the permanent menu. Drinks were excellent as always!

Absolutely wonderful experience, the customer service is fantastic and thorough from the moment we walked in the door - everyone cheerful and informative about the drinks and food AND we went with the unexpected DINE LA menu which was a brilliant deal from Steak Tartar, Delicately Roasted Oysters with Trout Roe, Salad & Perfect Chicken Wings And then a whole Branzino with delicate wraps and sauce and radishes. We could not even try the yummy sounding desserts!!! Such a GREAT TIME, coming back for sure.

Here’s Looking at You is perfection in a restaurant. The vibe, the food, the attention to detail, the love of the staff for their restaurant and their guests. And my oh my the bar program. We love HLAY!

Our experience at Heres Looking At You was lovely! I was happy to support them especially during these wildfires when it's been tough on small business owners in general. Highlights included the nonalcoholic plum Pina limonada, which was pretty dynamic for a zero abv drink, the uni panna cotta which delivered on salinity and crunch, and the shrimp toast. We did enjoy the happy hour burger and baseball steak but found them a little bit on the saltier side. Overall it was great!

One of our favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. HLAY is like no other restaurant that we’ve been to. Every dish is amazing, they hit the umami notes with every dish. Our group was trying to pick out what was going on with the ingredients and their ability to trick your mind with a combination of tart, bitter, sweet, salt and fat. So many complex flavors that are well balanced and not overwhelming. This is a foodie’s paradise and you won’t be disappointed. Order everything and don’t forget to grab some delicious cocktails.
