Great inventive food. Great service. It's a culinary feast in a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. The cocktails are as masterful and interesting as the food.

Never disappointed- the wine list is exceptional- The Little Gem CesarSalad is divine. Still not brave enough for Frog’s Legs - but heard they are great.

Creative & delicious food & cocktails. Portions are generous which is rare in LA restaurants of this quality. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about dishes. Great restaurant playlist and overall vibe is relaxed and inviting. Highly recommend!

Food and service was spectacular. Sat at the counter and had a wonderful time! Drinks were delicious too. I will definitely be back next time I’m in LA :)

Delicious, inventive food. Chef clearly knows how to add an assortment of complementary flavors to small plates to bring out the best in the main event. Would absolutely go back to experience this special place again.

Had a wonderful experience and our server was such a delight. We’ve been wanting to try HLAY since we moved to LA a year and a half ago and so happy we finally made it. From the menu presentation to the cocktails…one of the best martinis I had, simple yet crisp and well balanced so I got 2, and finally to the food. It’s a small menu but everything was executed 10/10.
