My wife wanted Prime Rib for NYE, and I couldn’t get into other restaurants at a reasonable time, so we landed at the HH. My expectations were low and HH delivered. We sat in an awkward side room that had three tables. It was strange but OK. The salad was very good and the best part of the meal. The prime rib was extremely chewy and cold. The sides we ordered were all cold and lacked any seasoning at all. Without alcohol, the meal was $160. I never mind paying for a good meal and an experience. I just wish I would have gotten either.

Amazing service, stellar food and an all around great experience! We tried this outing at Golden Ox a week ago, and it was horrible. Cold food, inattentive service and extremely loud noise. We left without dinner. This was the opposite. Wow! I used to go to Hereford House with my dad in the 70’s and 80’s. It was a special place. This location definitely does the brand proud.

This restaurant needs a renovation. Food not great - steaks were overcooked as was the salmon and fish & chips. Service was not good - had to go find our server to bring our check. The lighting in the room we were sitting was flickering the entire time - like a strobe light. Not pleasant. Hereford House used to be a terrific place to go - took our family there who was in from out of town to give them a nice KC steak experience. Very disappointing - will not be back.

The food was not as good as it has been in the past. The steak and Salmon were cooked to well done instead of medium.

It took a very long time to get our entrees but they were extremely busy. Restaurant was packed. A couple of sides were not very warm. Otherwise food was good and waitress excellent
