I understand it was the "special" but don't present it as half price special when you actually take away side dish. The meat was PERFECT...the mashed potatoes were tasty but right on the verge of being cold. We eat here at least twice a year, sometimes more often. Last night was the first time that I felt somewhat like the unwanted cousin because we ordered the special...that Y'ALL sent me the solicitation for. The waitress was nice but just seemed like she looked down on us in my perception. She was probably surprised because I tip well and last night was no exception.

First of all if you can request Michelle as your waitress- DO IT! She was excellent. Great descriptions of entrees, her attitude towards us and her job helped us enjoy our dining experience and when she did not know something she would get the information for us. It was our 45th anniversary and they provided us a private room. We did not expect that. I marked them down because I thought I was getting thick pork chops but they were closer to patty size.

Have no complaints for the service or the food, each was very good. Noise level was bad because we felt like we were eating in a spare room just to accommodate the amount of people. The service and the food made up for the noise level and the ambience which was zero.

Overall, my wife and I had an excellent experience for our date night. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the ambience was very soft, warm and inviting, and the food was fantastic.

Service was good. Hostess were really working hard and were very friendly. Steaks were not high quality, hard to cut and chew.

The half-price prime rib has become our go-to Monday date. As usual it was delicious and we took a good bit home. Our server Austin was attentive and accomodated our several requests quickly and well.
