We had just been to the Hereford house with some friends about a month ago and the food was excellent. We decided to take my wife's dad for Veteran's Day and was very disappointed. My father in-law had the prime rib special and it was extremely tough making it difficult for him to chew. My son ordered the filet medallions with blue cheese sauce. He received the wrong order. They quickly brought out a replacement which had a hair in it. They remade the order which he did not receive until everyone was finished. It was very good except for the cheesy potatoes were not cooked completely. The whiskey medallions were ok but not exceptional. Our experience with the Hereford house is that it runs hot and cold. Last night it was cold. Our server was great. The kitchen was slow. They were very busy and maybe that was the problem. I will not be going back any time soon.

We had a delicious prime rib dinner and our waiter Austin was outstanding. Thank you HH for honoring my husband for his 24 years of service to our country on Veteran's Day with a generous complimentary meal.

The waiter was great but the prime rib was so tough and full of gristle. The mashed potatoes were great. And, don’t ever order the meatloaf, nasty.

We were disappointed that the prime rib special was sold out for our 7:15 pm reservation. We regularly dine at HH on Mondays for this special which is still advertised. Our server Drew was courteous and helpful. He told us that HH often sells out of the special by 6:30 which is earlier than we like to eat. Shouldn't you have enough inventory on a popular special to serve it through dinner hours?

I like that the steakhouse is not the stuffy, snooty kind of place yet it is decked out enough that you know it's not just an everyday dining experience.
