Austin was an amazing sever answering our questions and suggesting things to make our dining experience better. He was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was excellent— the steaks done perfectly just the way we ordered. A great way to celebrate my birthday. Just passing through from Minnesota.

Hereford House Independence has wonderful food and service. Steaks were cooked to perfection and sides were delicious. Our server was super friendly and helpful. It's just an enjoyable experience to dine there. We treated our grandson and his girlfriend and they loved it all. They did the 2 for 1 meal and thought it was great. The prime rib happened to the special on Monday and it was perfect. So much that I brought leftovers home and enjoyed the meal again for lunch. Wife had the Petit Oscar and said it was very tender and tasty.

The place, atmosphere, service all fine. The food was not very good at all. We shared the crab stuffed mushrooms $18, we got 5 dried out cream cheese filled caps. There was hardly any crab at all. I ordered the small Caesar & grilled salmon, horrible, Salmon was way over done, dry, the salad was as basic as can be. My son had the taco's. Greasy, nothing exciting! presentations were amateur. I would not go back. We went because it was walking distance from hotel, after driving over 12 hrs, we didn't want to get back in car or eat another fast food meal- but honestly, we would have been better off.

Our steaks, Whiskey Medialions, & KC Strip, were delicious, cooked just right, The Bread Pudding was sooooo good. Our server was great, not too intrusive, just right. Used the online OpenTable to make reservations, worked so good. Can't wait to go again.

Great food great service’s. Prime rib was excellent as were the sides and appetizers. Don’t forget to order the corn bread.

We were celebrating a birthday and chose Wed night at 7:30 to be able to get the table we wanted. We have been coming here (Independence) Hereford House for more than a decade and the food is always excellent! ---Manager Jeff and server Keith were exceptional! I was a server in a fine dining restaurant while I put myself through nursing school, so I am pretty picky!! Love everyone I have ever had serve myself and my family for many years. (Please leave cash for the servers!!!!)
