Outstanding dinner in every way. The menu was creative, the food excellently prepared and beautifully presented. My wife enjoyed fillet of beef prepared two ways while I had a similar dish with Lamb two ways. The fish offers were equally interesting. Dinner is served in a beautiful classic dining room with plenty of space between tables and soft music. The service was attentive and polite. Overall an amazing dining experience!

Our meal in Herbert’s totally exceeded our expectations. A relaxed atmosphere accompanied by amazing food and service. An experience I can’t wait to try again!

Food was elegant and nicely presented .. fine dining style . Service was not stuffy . Only downside was the wine list .. limited selections by the glass , and bottle list was also limited .. only one Italian white wine offered besides Pinot Grigio on glass list . That was a mix of international varieties . Some better French options , but the fellow in chargr t he of dining room was Italian , so expected some Italian flair there .. all in all a good meal tho . Thank you

Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gutes regionales Essen. Gemüse bissfest, Fleisch im Gargrad exakt wie gewünscht. Ambiente wie es sich für ein Herrenhaus gehört.

Sadly, our quiet sophisticated dinner was overwhelmed by a very noisy wedding party!! No more need be said! Apologies were made but no recompense eventuated. Sugggest you eat at Kilkenny! Suspect, buses and wedding groups may be frequent diners!

We had a intimate group dining on the night of 28 people in the back of the Restaurant. Herberts restaurant was wonderful. The ambience and setting was lovely. We had a table by the window. The quality and the presentation of the food was very good indeed. The home made breads were really lovely. We had herb crusted Hague and Chicken , which were both lovely. The deserts were absolutely outstanding!. My husband had Ruberb and I had the cheesecake. Compliments to the pastry chef! The service in the restaurant was wonderful. Will be back again.

Amazing experience for dining if you are foodie and not fussy this is a place to eat and have good delicious food cannot recommend this enough
