Located in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, Henrietta Red is an acclaimed oyster bar and restaurant. It boasts a welcoming barroom, spacious dining room, oyster bar, and a temperature-controlled, enclosed patio.

Henrietta Red’s approach to dining centers on fresh, seasonal dishes intended for sharing, fostering an inviting atmosphere ideal for meals with familiar and new friends.
Our menu highlights local TN produce and responsibly sourced seafood, offering an extensive variety of oysters from coast to coast.

Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit, one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America, and a James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2018. Chef Julia has been recognized as one of the Best Young Chefs in America by Robb Report and as one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs in 2018. Lovely culinary experience! Personally enjoyed the non-alcoholic options. Service was outstanding. Great adult date night.

Had an anniversary date here and it was fantastic! From the service, to the food and the ambiance it was so unique and delicious! We had 10 oysters, steak tartar and wood fired pita, all of which were top tier! When we come back to Nashville this place is on the list!

What a wonderful little neighborhood gem! I was a little concerned since none of our party of 3 are oyster lovers, but there are so many other great choices to pick from! We weren't aware going in that it had more of a small plate vibe, with dishes meant for sharing. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations about how many dishes to order and which ones we should try. I would absolutely eat here again.

Eggplant and red snapper were fantastic! However the summer panzanella was purely acidic and nearly inedible. The beef tartare was good but needs a crispy bread paired with it. Gordon made sure we were well taken care of!

We really enjoyed dinner at Henrietta Red. We ordered a number of items for the table including the trout, eggplant, tomato salad, and squash. Everything was exceptional! What a treat!

The food was absolutely extraordinary: lots of small plates to share followed by an amazing dessert. Easily one of the best meals I've ever had in the USA and almost comparable to European fine dining, but in a casual atmosphere. The acoustics of the space are not great and the atmosphere was far louder than I like. My Apple Watch actually set off an alert that it was loud enough to cause hearing loss, so it's not just me! However, the dining experience was worth the extra decibels.

It was fabulous! It was the perfect spot for our post-Dracula rehearsal meal (Releve Society hosted a rehearsal viewing and reception, also fabulous). We had wonderful service and the food was delicious! I’m not usually a seafood boy but made an exception, tried most things and was glad I did! I will definitely be coming back!
