Located in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, Henrietta Red is an acclaimed oyster bar and restaurant. It boasts a welcoming barroom, spacious dining room, oyster bar, and a temperature-controlled, enclosed patio.

Henrietta Red’s approach to dining centers on fresh, seasonal dishes intended for sharing, fostering an inviting atmosphere ideal for meals with familiar and new friends.
Our menu highlights local TN produce and responsibly sourced seafood, offering an extensive variety of oysters from coast to coast.

Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit, one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America, and a James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2018. Chef Julia has been recognized as one of the Best Young Chefs in America by Robb Report and as one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs in 2018. It was fabulous! It was the perfect spot for our post-Dracula rehearsal meal (Releve Society hosted a rehearsal viewing and reception, also fabulous). We had wonderful service and the food was delicious! I’m not usually a seafood boy but made an exception, tried most things and was glad I did! I will definitely be coming back!

Great service, great flavors might just be lacking in execution but definitely would be back again next time I’m in town! For ex. Freshness of pastry for desert, fire time for toast with tartar making the toast stale, crushed ice dressing for oyster probably should be fluffy, etc.

Amazing meal & cocktail experience. As a plant based person I found good selections. This an upscale restaurant, so expect to spend some money. I was happy to pay my bill & tip my server generously !

The place is simple and friendly. The waitress was like having a friend looking out for you. The Maitre D' was also very professional.

If you haven’t eaten here yet you need to! The oysters were amazing, the salad had exceptional flavors to it and all of our entrees were superb! The decor of the restaurant is contemporary but with a cool, clean Farm House look to it. Our waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable about the variety of the oysters and the menu. Don’t wait as long as we did, to get here! You will love it .

Good happy hour, great service by Becky, usually tasty dishes…but lukewarm scallop and salty gnocchi this time. Tasty dessert!

I reserved a table of two for my wife’s birthday and I let the restaurant know this fact before our visit. It was a wonderful experience. The menu had “happy birthday” printed on the top. All of the staff were aware of the birthday and gave my wife birthday wishes. The meal was flavorful and well done. This is my favorite place to go, and I chose this restaurant because I knew there would be no issues for my wife’s special day. They never disappoint and have a great happy hour as well.

Great food and service. Both people in our party had food allergies and they were extremely accommodating and took great care to make sure we had a great and safe experience.
