Located in Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, Henrietta Red is an acclaimed oyster bar and restaurant. It boasts a welcoming barroom, spacious dining room, oyster bar, and a temperature-controlled, enclosed patio.

Henrietta Red’s approach to dining centers on fresh, seasonal dishes intended for sharing, fostering an inviting atmosphere ideal for meals with familiar and new friends.
Our menu highlights local TN produce and responsibly sourced seafood, offering an extensive variety of oysters from coast to coast.

Henrietta Red was named one of America’s 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit, one of GQ’s Best New Restaurants in America, and a James Beard Foundation Awards Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in 2018. Chef Julia has been recognized as one of the Best Young Chefs in America by Robb Report and as one of Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Chefs in 2018. food was exceptional. service was great, the place is very pretty. A little bit expensive but well worth it.

Very disappointing experience. Waitress was cold and took much too long to take our orders. Best part of meal were apps - oysters were excellent, pita bread & dip really good, bread okay but anchovy butter?! Blah. $100 wine not good. All the wines much too young. Fun vibe but hard to hear each other as tables are extra wide. Obviously, we would not recommend.

It took 30 minutes to receive our order, and once we got it, we noticed it was different than the description on the menu. Our server did not provide communication on the status of our order until we asked him. My friends recommended your restaurant and we were not impressed.

Food was great, especially trout and anchovy butter for the bread and vesper martini. Trout was fabulous in the beurre blanc sauce. Thanks to our waiter for recommending that we order 3-4 dishes for 2 people. Perfect. Celebrating 34 years together, perfect celebration spot. And it was in a quiet neighborhood, which I appreciated.

Wonderful service and great recommendations our sweet server, from Cheryl. Best oysters in town! We loved sitting at the raw bar counter. And the cocktails and wine list are superb! All around amazing team at Henrietta Red. Love coming back again and again for dinner and brunch.

The food was so good. Our server was very tentative and had the answer for any question we had about the menu items. She made great suggestions for us. We will definitely be back.

Service - amazing. Food - outstanding. Drinks - delicious. Table next to us - rude, loud, ill mannered. Which kinda killed the vibe, but we did enjoy our visit nonetheless.

Sat outside as the weather was nice plus the inside is a more noisy atmosphere. Salad was just ok and meal timing was off. The dessert was also just ok.
