The food was tasty; and we thought quite generous servings. The service was impeccable. We will go back. Highly recommend.

Great food and service, all the dishes we had were delicious. $15 expresso Martinis a win too !

Food was OK , some dishes good, the meatballs were quite Ok nothing outstanding like something you could at home . Olives were good quality almost as good as we had in Spain. I’ve heard that Patatas Bravas is a dish by which you can judge a Spanish restaurant, the ones we were served were OK not outstanding. For some reason they used aoili with very little tomato and potato was not crisp like they had been cooked and kept warm . Service was good but staff didn’t seem to know the wines which to me reflects on their training rather than the staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed the new additions to the menu - empanadas, garlic prawns, and honey roasted eggplant together with some old favourites -albondigas and croquettes. Service was very professional but engaging. We are regulars here and always enjoy it.

The perfect place for a bite and cocktail before the ballet. We mentioned we had to head to the show at a specific time and the staff were great

Food was underwhelming.Staff did not make eye contact so had to try hard to get their attention. Not very perceptive when putting down plates or removing. Had to ask for menu to order dessert.

We decided to come to Heno and Rey to dine before the show. From the beginning there was no support nor initiative from any staff member. We asked for a low table in the booking and we were given a high table. Then we were never given water, even though we asked. The food arrived late and the courses did not arrive together. But the worst was ordering the dessert. Firstly, nobody came to the table to check on us so we could order. Eventually, the person who took the order was not able to answer our questions (how big is the Portuguese Tart) or explain what it was. Then we waited and waited, getting stressed about being late for the show. We went to the counter and again, nobody helped. Overall, we asked 3 times for this already-made dessert and when it finally arrived, it was cold and unappealing. The service was extremely poor and nobody acknowledged or apologised for making us wait so long. We won't recommend this place for a pre-show dining experience.

We had high expectations for this restaurant but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food wasn’t great, the restaurant lacked atmosphere and the meal was expensive. The wait staff were lovely though. Sorry, we won’t be back.
